If he's active are you playing him Thursday?

If he's active, I would. Miami's run D isn't very good - although the team has obviously been much better since Philbin's been gone.If he's active are you playing him Thursday?
Don't make the mistake of judging Miami defense taking weeks 1-5 into account. After the philb firing they are a completely different team and the defense has been dominant. If he's active, I would. As a TJ Yeldon owner who sat him this week, yes. If he's active, he plays. If he's active are you playing him Thursday?
Blount only saw 6 snaps, and got 3 carries out of it. The rest went without an RB on the field. Musta been a heck of a game plan if they were expecting Lewis available too.
This is what has worried me since hearing the vague abdomen description.Reddit rumor he has a sports hernia. Hopefully it's just BS.
I dont think they actually practiced. limited was based on a speculative guess.???? White was on the field quite a bit so not sure what you are referring to. Also, Brady noted in a monday morning radio interview that they made substantial changes to the game plan on saturday "based on who would be available" then mentioned lewis by name saying that he was originally a big part of the original gameplan. That lewis was originally a big part of the game plan can only be seen as a good thing. That he was expected to play earlier in the week and was a late scratch could be something (i.e. Setback) or nothing (ie so close he'll be in this thurs)...but his non participation in mobday's practice has me leaning toward the former. Fingers crossed he practices today.
I'll try not to make that mistake again.Don't make the mistake of judging Miami defense taking weeks 1-5 into account. Correct. This was a mandatory injury report filing that was more hypothetical for the Pats given they didn't practice. Today we HOPEFULLY get better information.I dont think they actually practiced. limited was based on a speculative guess.???? White was on the field quite a bit so not sure what you are referring to. The Patriots' offense is the bad matchup for everyone. Doesn't matter who they're playing. They're gonna put up numbers.Don't overlook who the Fins have played the last two weeks, two of the worst teams in the league.
I dont think so. Ill have Freeman and Charknado in at RB and Landry, Brown and Hopkins at my WRIf he's active are you playing him Thursday?
The "juice" in Miami's D is Cameron Wake. Wake is getting healthy on Miami's D-Line which is huge. The last 2 weeks he has devoured everyone in front of him. He's a game changer when in form. With the way Brady has been getting pressure from lesser lineman, I wouldn't be surprised to see Wake setting up a tent in the Pats backfield.I'll try not to make that mistake again.Don't make the mistake of judging Miami defense taking weeks 1-5 into account. They have played Tennesee and Houston in those two games though - hardly offensive juggernauts and Tenn has no running game at all to speak of. Sooner or later the "juice" that comes with shaking things up wears off a bit. I think the Pats can run on the Phins. I'm starting Blount in the league I own him and will start Lewis in the leagues where I own him provided he gets a clean bill of health.
No but only because I have options. Think I'll roll with CJ2K who looked pretty good Monday night. If he's active are you playing him Thursday?
For the scheme? Yes that is far fetched since he's great in the passing game and would have helped far more than White - but it is possible they felt they were better off having him close to 100% for the Dolphins game rather than getting a 50% version for both the Jets and Dolphins game. It's not so far fetched that he was inactive Sunday against the Jets because of the scheme and not only that but also to have more rest for the Thursday night game?
Yeah the game set up perfectly for Lewis against the Jets. It is possible they thought they could win without him (which they did) and then hopefully have him healthy for this week. If you're a Lewis owner that's what you have to hope for.For the scheme? I've got him and Woodhead to decide over for my Flex spot in Standard. I am also starting Gronk, Lamar, and Brady on Thursday. That's a lot of eggs to put in one basket (albeit a lot of good eggs). No clue what to do with this guy this week
No way I'm taking a chance on him with a Thursday game. Will play either Fitz or Eifert at flex.I've got him and Woodhead to decide over for my Flex spot in Standard. That's a tough one, IMO. For me, it's Dion vs. Lat Murray (plays Jets) vs. JStew. I'm rolling w/ Dion if he's active. My decision is Lewis vs Gore vs a tough CAR def
It wasnt awful. They didnt run because they knew nobody can run on the Jets so why bother? Why is nobody talking about how ####### awful the pats running game was without him? Blount didn't even end the day with positive yards. I could not be any more enthusiastic about Lewis. Blount will get some work but he is showing over and over that he is good for one thing, running the clock on bad defenses. The pats saw last week what life without Dion is (and yes, that the jets are good too) andit was ugly. If he goes, I'm firing him up all day every day
I think they would've at least made an attempt with Lewis in the spread look. He can run the ball. White really can't and Blount isn't really part of their base look. I do think NE's offense was dramatically different without Lewis. They won because Brady's playing lights out again but I think they definitely need Lewis. Without him, the threat of the running game is removed completely from their primary offense. It wasnt awful. Hey Doc Oct I like your thinking. I also feel a big part of the NE game plan will be to establish the run and slow down the Miami pass rush. If Brady has to drop back 56 times it's gonna be a long night for the Pats.I'll try not to make that mistake again.Don't make the mistake of judging Miami defense taking weeks 1-5 into account. Agreed. They gave him three carries. It's hard to say he was awful on three carries against the leagues top run defense.Think you are under rating Blount there.
He's capable of doing a lot of things, he's surprisingly elusive for the role he plays. But he has become relegated to a particular role.
We will still see him get quite a few carries this year.
Wait, that last part was a quote? That's hilarious.Kevin Duffy @KevinRDuffy 6m6 minutes ago
Belichick asked how Dion Lewis looked in practice. "We didn't really practice this week. A lot of us could have got through practice." "My mom could have got through practice."
I'm starting Belichick's mom.I'm gonna go ahead and start the Charknado again this week.
