Penalty Steelers!!!!!Yeah blatant missed holding on ravens but the whiners are predictably quiet
I have to say, seeing all of these posts in here, I have to wonder if you're just as annoying as you are in the Packer game threads.I unblock you in the FFA, but cannot take you in football game threads. You have chosen to ignore all posts from: ArcticEdge.

On 3rd and 15, that was a gift Ravens fans. Consider it even as you've gotten two automatic 1st downs on this drive. Give all this ref stuff a rest and enjoy the game. The reffing will work itself out over the course of the entire game. The important thing is for Balitmore to sustain this drive and get some points.
Complaining about the reffing all game while they get their butts kicked won't do you any good.
There's a holding penalty on Pittsburgh, automatic first down.

Leading with the crown of the helmet is not legal, ever.from Rule 12, Section 2, Article 8 of the NFL rulebook...Unnecessary RoughnessThere shall be no unnecessary roughness. This shall include, but will not be limited to: ......(f) If a player uses any part of his helmet (including the top/crown and forehead/"hairline" parts) or facemask to butt, spear, or ram an opponent violently or unnecessarily. Although such violent or unnecessary use of the helmet and facemask is impermissible against any opponent, game officials will give special attention in administering this rule to protecting those players who are in virtually defenseless postures, including but not limited to:(1) Forcibly hitting the defenseless player's head, neck, or face with the helmet or facemask, regardless of whether the defensive player also uses his arms to tackle the defenseless player by encircling or grasping him; or(2) Lowering the head and violently or unnecessarily making forcible contact with the "hairline" or forehead part of the helmet against any part of the defenseless player's bodyBecause it isn't illegal unless you are tackling a QB or a "defenseless receiver". Leading with your helmet against a runner is perfectly legal. Also, why not mention that leading with the crown of the helmet is an illegal tackle and should be flagged?CBS coverage is terrible. Why not show this alleged pass interference rather than the tackle?
Is calling an obvious penalty a gift? But I agree, let's get the refball over with now and get on with the game.On 3rd and 15, that was a gift Ravens fans. How is it a gift when a CB takes out a WR about to make a catch? On 3rd and 15, that was a gift Ravens fans. Consider it even as you've gotten two automatic 1st downs on this drive. AgreedThe refereeing today seems pretty bad, but its been bad in both directions.
I am pretty sure leading with your helmet in order to make a tackle is legal so long as the officials deem you aren't doing anything I bolded. It is possible to make a tackle, lead with your helmet and not commit a penalty.Leading with the crown of the helmet is not legal, ever.from Rule 12, Section 2, Article 8 of the NFL rulebook...Because it isn't illegal unless you are tackling a QB or a "defenseless receiver". Seems like some questionable pi calls both ways. The refereeing today seems pretty bad, but its been bad in both directions.
It's clear that the refs are making a lot of questionable calls for both teams.Altought I think they got this one right. It's clear who the refs want to win.pass interference only goes one way. Plus Kemo hitting late on the pile
THat is a TD. dummy
That's a fumble.
thats a TD
As soon as it hit the ground, I was thinking "I didn't hear a whistle. Why is everyone just standing around?"
In the first quarter. So Pittsburgh is now out of challenges.
No tuck. he reset and went back to throw again.Clear fumble and TD.why isn't that the tuck rule..because he recocked?
