For a couple of reason's - I want Dallas to run right at Matthew's a lot.

Dallas needs to score 30 to win.  Green Bay has only lost one game this season where the opponent scored less than 30.

Can't wait, I really do think Green Bay wins this one.
I looked at their schedule and I see that yes, teams that score 30 can beat them. Look at who they beat. For the most part it's teams that struggle offensively, the games that they lost were against teams that have a pretty strong offensive identity...

while it may take 30+ points to win, I don't see Green Bay as the team that's going to put up 30 in Dallas.

I do.  You will be amazed at how good Aaron Rodgers plays.  It's like a master class every time he's been on the field for two months.  22-0 td/int ratio.

I think GB can score 30, but don't know that I expect them to.  DAL has given up (exactly) 30 once this year at PIT.  They're getting key defenders back, while GB lost their best WR.

But you're right; Rodgers is playing as well as a QB can play, and the Packers have a solid shot to win because of that.

I'm really looking forward to this game. As a homer, how does the DL of GB stack up against Dallas's OL?
Pretty much the way any d-line outside of the Giants does, which is to say not well.  I note also that the Packers had a chance to bring back Mike Pennel but choose not to.  He is not great, but he is a big body and certainly helps with the rotation.

Right tackle Doug Free is the weak link in Dallas' O line....look for Mathews to come at him hard....the rest should benefit a vet like Free.

I think you guys are crazy with all these high score predictions.  I just don't see 60 points being scored in this game  when the cowboys are going to be controlling the clock the majority of it.

24-17 Cowboys.

The Packers can obviously can win because of how well Rodgers is playing, but he has to be all-world for four quarters for them to win, and Dallas is likely to dominate the TOP with long drives.  Gonna be tough.

My plea to Red........No matter what happens in the first quarter, commit to the run!!

I believe that with Dak at the helm, it helps the Cowboys stick with the run......Romo opens up the playbook, and has historically been able to extend plays and make chunk plays......this can be tempting when you're down a score or two.....but the strength of this team is running obviously.....and in looking at GB's defense a little, the Cowboys should be able to move the chains runnin up the middle on the packers.  Witten should have some room to work the middle too.  Can't wait!!

I've seen Aaron Rodgers play his entire career, I know how good he is...the lack of a true running game and the loss of Jordy Nelson are going to hurt them tomorrow.

I think it will be.  Super Bowl winner very likely comes out of this game.
No I have the Patriots winning the super bowl.  Its not flashy but the Patriots have only allowed more than 20 points 3 times in their last 14 games.  In 3 of their last 5 games the Patriots have allowed 10, 3, and 3 points.  4 of their last 5 games have been blowouts.  Total score of their last 5 games is 148-53.  Elite defense and excellent offense.  Patriots should be favored to win another ring.

I believe the Pats are the favorite also.

But that 3, 3 and 10 you pointed to were the Rams , Jets and a floundering Broncos offense. Not exactly high octane offenses

Hoping for the best for Green Bay. Despite how well Rodgers is playing, I'm just not sure the Green Bay D will hold up. I hope they prove me wrong.

Dallas 31 - Green Bay 24

It's a game I don't feel great about or bad about.  We will go as the D can hold up just enough for Rodgers to keep them in it.

Should be fun either way...and either of these teams vs Atlanta will be fun next week too.

While I agree with your conclusion, I wouldn't put a lot of stock in NE's defense. They have played the worst of the worst QBs this season. Yeah, you can only play who's on your schedule, but the only above average QB they've played in the last three months took them to the woodshed.

True running game?  Do you realize TY Montgomery has averaged 5.9 YPC this season?  He's not used heavily, only when needed .... and this week he's needed.

This game is the real NFC Championship game.  Might as well be the Super Bowl too.  The winner comes out of this game.  I'm 83% sure.

I don't know Matt Ryan is on fire right now. Assuming Julio is ok I could see the Falcons taking it to the Cowboys.  I don't see Ryan beating Rodgers in a shoot out.

I could see 60 pts. scored in this game. I think Dallas will have more t.o.p. but Packers are gonna have plenty of time to put points on the board and they'll need them. Why?  Pack is gonna focus on Zeke and WR Dez Bryant has his best game of the year, thanks to Zeke, scoring at least 2 tds & 100+ yds. receiving. My gut, hunch, whatever you wanna call it has me starting Bryant & benching A. Brown. I am nuts for doing this, maybe, but I just feel strongly that Dez outscores Antonio today. Any other game it would be AB without hesitation but this 1 day, this 1 game the postgame shows will be talking about Bryant's phenominal day. I didn't draft Dez in any of my leagues this year but he's gonna payoff today. Anybody else out there with me on this one? I kinda doubt it, but if you are let's hear your thoughts. Because Zeke will indirectly, maybe directly, aid in Dez scoring at least(at least) 2 tds.

This game has  :X  all over it. Game is so putrid in the first half cause the refs won't know who to call the game for. Cowpokes - 0, Fudge Packers - 0, Eagles 35

I'm just tired of hearing about Romo getting into this game.  Dak will be on fire this week.  Might take him a few drives to get into it but he'll match Aaron by the end.

I believe it is the other way around, if Dak and the Cowboys start slow they will never catch up.

Nah. I never thought I would say this but this Atlanta team is different. I had them beating Seattle easily and I wouldn't be surprised if they beat GB or Dallas.

Dak shouldn't even be trying to match Aaron......Zeke shold have like 150 and 2.....Dak will need to make some throws, but he's got Witten/Dez/Beaz/Williams/Butler/DMC to bail him out.......our O line needs to assert it's DOMINANCE!!

We will see but I disagree.  I don't see green Bay dropping 3 touchdowns in the first quarter or anything like that but the Cowboys can catch up if within 2 scores.

Here's also to hoping that Joe Buck faps it so hard to his two loves (DAL and Aaron Rodgers) while announcing this game that he gets a #### fracture and misses the entire rest of the NFL season and the MLB season.

Talk about assymetrical coverage of the teams.  The NFL wants dallas to win this so badly.  Not going to matter.

You are going to be crushed for a few hours afterwards too.
I won't lie, a loss would hurt tonight.

However, by the summer, I will remember that this franchise is on the rise, I can see it and feel it. I see them hoisting a trophy in the next 4 years.

BUCK hates the Cowboys. WTF are you talking about.

Tough to predict that far out the league changes so quickly.  It's always now or never.

Good luck Cowboys.  And Go Pack Go. Keep running the table.

I don't want to agree, but assuming guys stay healthy, you're probably right.
