DJ Williams and Denver Scheme Discussion (1 Viewer)

Still some eight in the box this week, but much more Cover-2. Again, it's very difficult to say whether that was gameplan related or a philosophical shift. Regardless, it's another week where DJ looked like the best linebacker the Broncos have and more like a MLB than an OLB. Hopefully, the injury doesn't slow him down.
Injury? :lmao:
Apparently had a tear of his lat muscle during the game last night. He was still hitting, but it clearly affected how easily he brought RBs down.
This is something to keep an eye on. He really is not a good start against the Lions anyways, but it bears watching how he tackles when he has the opportunities. If anyone gets any updates on the severity of this injury, let us know.

Somehow he practiced fully yesterday with a torn lat muscle. :lmao:

I grabbed David Harris assuming DJ and/or McIntosh would be at least questionable this week so I could put them on IR. Now I have to drop someone. :lmao:

Did D.J. practice fully again on Thursday?

He's not been listed on their injury report thus far... unless he shows up on the official report today.

(KFFL) Bill Williamson, of The Denver Post, reports Denver Broncos LB D.J. Williams (shoulder) practiced Thursday, Nov. 1, and is expected to play Week 9.
