When healthy this season, Darrell Jackson has been a monster. Consider these numbers:6-65-18-131-08-125-07-55-16-72-13-34-09-143-16-75-1In eight games, DJax's numbers are:53-700-5.Project that out to 16 games and it comes to:106-1,400-10For us DJax owners who were hit hard by his injury those numbers are a painful indication of what might have been. But for those wondering what his potential will be like for next season consider how good these numbers are even in an offense that features the game's MVP at RB and other strong options in the passing game. If you're looking for someone to bounce back with a potentially monster season in 2006 the way Steve Smith did this season, Darrell Jackson could be that guy.

lets just hope he stays healthy next year!
He is brittle enough that I will avoid taking him in the top 10 of WRs.
I think the brittle thing may be a bit overdone. Sure he only played 6 games this year, but in each of his previous 5 seasons, he only missed a total of 3 games (when he nearly died in 2002).IMO, if he stays healthy next year, he's could very well be a top 5 WR.

Next year...if you have a late first rounder I can see a tandem of Steve Smith, a second tier RB, and D jax, which, in a PPR league, could be a monster. Couple that to a solid RB reach later (like Droughns) and a QB like Hass or Brady and you may be the team to beat next year.

Djax has been a steal every year. He has been a great value pick. Based on his injury I suspect he will be again this year, except in shark leagues. ;) There are no value picks in true shark leagues. Just some good fortune with injuries. :P

I picked up JJ and played him all the weeks D Jax was out and the combined stats were fairly close to that. :)

I had the worst season of my fantasy career this year due to injuries in my receiving corps ( I had DJax and T. Holt). My backups were Roy Williams and Eric Moulds which fell short of desirable. Had those two been healthy all year I'm sure I would have made the playoffs. I'm gonna be targeting S.Smith and DJax in my dynasty league next year.

This guy is SO UNDER the radar it is ridiculous.

Elite talent who will hit 100 catches next year.

I got him in the 4th after Chad Johnson and was tickled pink to have that tandem as my 1/2, with Branch coming later as my #3 guy.

When DJax went down, I slid him into IR until the playoffs, but picked up Kevin Curtis to take up the slack (which may have been the waiver wire pickup of the year).

That, coupled with a Branch/Shockey for Rudi/Moulds trade right before the playoffs started and I was gold. One defeat on the year and a Championship later... ;)

I'll have a bullseye on him next draft as well.
