DNC Leaks...official thread (1 Viewer)

Did the hackers confirm if all emails were released, or is this like the Sony hack where things will be released in stages? Could get interesting if this is just one of a bunch.

Guaranteed more emails are coming...not good for anybody in political office, but in particular for negligent Hillary who doesn't seem to have the slightest about what information security is all about.

I think wikileaks suggested there are more to come - not sure how accurate that is though, or what the timing might be on future leaks.

I'm suspicious because they basically admitted they don't know much by giving us bs evidence.  They wrote an entire article painting Russia as the big bad wolf, and gave some weak circumstantial evidence to back it up. Then proceed to say "other security firms have come to the same conclusion".  Are these the same security firms that we outsource 85% of our cyber security to?  The ones that Edward Snowden exposed?  Maybe they are just confirming what the Clintons want them to say so they can keep getting huge government contracts?
So basically you are saying the evidence is bad because it may have been collected from a firm that Snowden exposed.  Seems like nuanced, rational thinking to me.

there you go...if you can't win on substance, go after physical appearance...that'll learn em.
Actually that commentary is about his decision making that leads him to believe that a 70 year old man should devote an hour everyday to paint themselves to look like they are on vacation in Florida.   It's not about his appearance at all.

Okay, you can focus on decisions like spray tans.

Those of us with reasonable judgment will focus on poor decisions like Benghazi, supporting disastrous obamacare, personal email servers and supporting the Iraq war...and that's just to get us started.

Actually it shows good sense...spray tans are far more safer than laying in the sun to get tanned ...so  hes showing great wisdom

You're voting for a guy who took money from Soros, and you're asking me this question?

Gosh if only we could see Donald's income tax statement to see if he still owes Soros money.
Trade you Donald's tax returns for Hillary's Goldman Sachs paid speaking engagement transcripts.

They both have skeletons lurking (like the Bell missed drug test suspension, we can assume there are some bad guys in the Donald's tax returns at this point), and while I don't agree with Bernie's politics I respected his approach and his campaign. It seems like he could've beaten her in a fair fight, but this is just proving the bias in the media and within the DNC people speculated upon for Clinton to get the nod, with the super delegates as the additional barrier outside of what we're seeing from the emails to keep Bernie out. I think it moreso highlights the need for a third party, because I'm taking away from the emails the DNC didn't like Bernie so they shut him out however they could, wouldn't make a place for him where a third party might have welcomed his message.

Honestly I'd say get back to the content of the hacked emails. DFS created a diversion, I was just responding to him.

Yes I think the veil is off the DNC now.

The worst part of this are the Dems trying to link Donald to Russia...what a move of desperation.
2012 Romney calls Russia our top geopolitical foe .

"Gov. Romney, I'm glad that you recognize that al-Qaida is a threat, because a few months ago when you were asked what's the biggest geopolitical threat facing America, you said Russia, not al-Qaida. You said Russia ... the 1980s, they're now calling to ask for their foreign policy back because, you know, the Cold War's been over for 20 years," Obama said.
Obama mocks him. Now the Dems embrace Russia as the boogeyman and in league with TRUMP. The sheeples just eat from the hand whatever is given to them.

Great news for Trump camp that DWS quits, he can run that for weeks how crooked the campaign and the entire DNC is, they admitted guilt.

it just get easier and easier for Trump.

And DWS resigning, the hard Left in this place can spin it however many times to Sunday they like but it is a major black eye on the eve of the Convention...I can't think of much better other than an FBI indictment of Clinton...and even that wouldn't be as fun because then Bernie would be running and Trump might have bigger problems.

For those of you not scared enough by Boogieman #1 (Trump) to vote for Hillary, please see Boogieman #2 (Putin).  Ignore how the DNC worked to rig the election and focus on how Vladimir is working to rig the election.

Think of the timing...a few days earlier Trump rails against a rigged system...now this...whether you like the guy or not there is no denying the BS our politics have become...full of hypocrites and people who believe they are some type of royalty...yet, some people continue to look to these clowns as the answer to all their problems...not sure whether it's pathetic or sad...probably both...

I will keep posting it but I understand the skepticism surrounding Trump and even some of the hate, I don't pretend. I have become jaded over a long time. You live 15-20 years as a middle class hard worker in this country and I think it wears on you after a while. The mortgage crisis made many feel foolish for getting up and going to work everyday...WOAH, did I just post that?

That's where a lot of the rub is getting overlooked. People who worked hard and paid their mortgage felt like they got hosed after multiple homes in their neighborhood plunged and then in turn forced their home values down. And some can say it all worked out if they held on...maybe so but I watched a lot of money barons and the like storm in and buy up homes at a discount, the fat cats and not the policeman and teacher...it just was a real stomach turner for many and I think as I finally post it, that's a huge trigger in this country and something many do not discuss.

I met a woman the other day who explained how Obama did in fact save her home from foreclosure by adding $50k to the balance 40 years down the road and...it went on and on, maybe it did save some homes but even that story I mentioned would not make a lot of folks happy. The middle class has been bent over and raped the last 40 years. No pay raises, pay for everyone's entitlements, take care of the lazy and make the wealthy rich, that's the Middle Class burned and punishment for wanting to be a productive member of society.

I'm so jaded...

Florida tipped things to GWB which in turn created Obama which in turn has created Trump...those hanging Chads are still clinging to life.

Think about it...

The optics are piss poor here, especially with Clinton naming her honorary chair of her campaign team.. whatever the #### that means. I think this looks especially poor to those paying attention to politics for the first time. Yeah, seasoned vets are painfully aware of how inclusive the establishment is (on both sides) but to those tuning in for the first time I think this situation will be received/processed differently.

I'd like to celebrate the unveiling of this kind of favoritism but the thought of being co-opted by Trump supporters really tempers my excitement. Hillary and Trump, wow did America really #### up.

No one in the country outside of self-styled politicos and the Right Wing Noise Machine (including people who would already never have voted for Clinton) cares for one second who chairs the DNC, whether some DNC members (gasp) preferred Clinton to Sanders, or anything else.  This has zero impact on the election.

Such poor choices. The best one side could muster was an utter joke, and the other opponent lied and cheated  their own base as they couldn't do it any other way . Wonderful.

We were told the same thing about the emails.

And the best you could muster as an alias name is "Ridgeback"?

I disagree AA, many of the voters Trump and Clinton are trying to appeal to in order to wing it their way are in fact viewing this and watching. Let;s be honest, a lot of people DO NOT want to vote for Trump but are having a hard time embracing Hilary, things a re a little up in the air no matter what either side is saying. I would keep an open mind and not shut the door on ideas at this point. It's early in the One vs One for all the Tostitos, let;s at least wait for Hilary to return the kick 6 yards deep in her own end zone...

And I'll pas the mic back to you sir.

THE DNC FFA is in FULL SWING, All parties who have not found their way into the arena, please make your way now.

I think you're underestimating the strength of the anti-establishment sentiment among voters right now. You seriously don't think this could move someone from "holding their nose" and voting Clinton to just staying home?

OK, MOP, but . .  Hillary is not the DNC.  Most people don't understand what the DNC is or what it does.  And the RNC has been a complete fustercluck this cycle in every conceivable way.

This just has no resonance whatsoever with the electorate.

I'm calling dibs on this horse right now. We got a Nazi stamp, Hitler stache, 2 posts, 1 like, I'm seeing late entry into best supporting in the performance art category here. Keep an eye on this one, got a feeling we will be entertained.

Good luck and welcome stranger  ;)

Nationwide?  Maybe 1,000 people, about 850 to 900 of whom would not have ended up voting for Clinton anyway under any circumstances.

Absolutely it can. This is not something to be proud of. Let's look at it from an Indy who might have tuned in for at least the Trump speech and heard a fire and brimstone message that was nothing short of a Baptist Revival and perhaps might have been off put or maybe not as something like 3/4 of those who saw it reported liking the speech(I linked it 2 days ago, not made up I promise) And i want to be clear, not saying Trump is running away 3:1 in the General because that really is lunacy but he could be holding a substantial edge on those who are still making up their minds and there are many as much as that pains some to post.

Clinton could bounce back this week, all networks should be focused on her but I bet Trump some how will manage to get more air time than anyone should or could before him even as the DNC is rolling. And I am agreeing with you that this event is not a good start. Sanders was on every network this morning and his words were not very good for momentum.

That's just being honest IMO, it's not admitting that either Party is winning right now, the race seems eerily close.

I am going to think that the Bernie supporters are going to care that the cards were stacked against their guy.

Also, I would not be surprised in the least that Clinton Foundation emails will be leaked as well and we can see just how corrupt the machine is.

No one's going to be talking about this after tomorrow if the guy who was wronged does his best to move everyone past it.
I am not sure that Bernie can be totally bought off, even with the party leaning heavily on him to fall in line so Trump doesn't win.  I can't wait for it all to unfold, it is like watching a train wreck in process.

Meaning after running his campaign he simply slinks right back into the arms of the establishment that screwed him...gotta believe he loses a lot of credibility with that move as well as letting down those who were fighting for him...

Only with people with unrealistic expectations of a political campaign or people supporting Trump.  Most people aren't going to give it a second thought.
