Does anyone beside me watch Olbermann? (1 Viewer)

Not sure if I know anyone that would admit to liking him. And I am pretty liberal with a lot of liberal friends.

I really caught his show for the first time not too long ago. I like it. I can see the unlikable part of Olbermann, almost constantly, but I like the show. If nothing else, he's a bright guy that treats his audience like they are intelligent as well. Delves into issues so much more than Sportcenter.

I was going to post something about this the other night. I still can't watch him. I thought his snark was overbearing and unwarranted back in '95, and it says something that he's lasted that long, from sports to politics and back to sports. I should qualify that I always thought there was unbridled anger and condescension under the thin -- very thin -- veneer of humor.

Note that I'm pretty conservative/libertarian. Maybe it's temperament, or something.

Watching Olbermann. He's much more comfortable doing commentary than covering sports. Botched the Kansas/K. St. highlights something fierce. He also loves the absurd, which is cool. Did a great segment on the Westminster Dog Show.

It's re-running. Will watch this, but I'm a sucker for sports. Want to see his take on Michael Sam.
