Does anyone think Dez Bryant will be fantasy relevant? (1 Viewer)

I can't believe the number of people I see dropping decent WRs to pick up Dez.

If this guy was any good don't you think he would have been on a team by now?
Even if he is okay, there are so many mouths to feed in New Orleans he will be way down the pecking order.
I see him simply as a move by a team to have experienced depth as they are getting ready for a playoff run.

Fantasy footballers are gamblers by nature... almost anything is worth a shot if you have room on your bench.

I said this in the SP, team-wise everything around him is an upgrade... offense play-calling, pass-happy attack, high-scoring, QB play, and a true #1 WR on the other side to draw the heat.

The only question - and it's a big one - was truly he washed up when Dallas let him go? If so then will be much of the same in New Orleans. If he can still play, then he's the best thing on the waiver wire that I can see.

I see him as a potential one week flyer from time to time but lacking the consistency to trust on an every week basis.

He could fit a position that New Orleans does not currently have.  He could be a red zone threat.  I have no idea if he has any gas left in the tank but if he does I can see him being a red zone threat that they don't currently have.  I don't think he will be consistent enough to put in week to week but he has the potential to do so.  Worth adding and seeing if he has anything left to prove.
