Does Culpepper unretire? (1 Viewer)

Culpepper may be changing his mind about retirement if he gets a call to come in and compete for the starting job somewhere, especially if it comes from New England. Culpepper to Moss redux?

Anybody think Culpepper decides to pull a Favre if the right situation comes up?

Maybe he'll come back someday, but it would strictly be a Jeff George/Vinny Testaverde desperation gig.

The guy isn't that good. I don't think the Patriots would have any interest.

This isn't Madden. You can't put Culpepper into a starting lineup of an NFL team which runs an offense that he has absolutely no familiarity with and expect anything. If he gets offered a job due to injury, it will be as a backup.Unless by "desides to pull a Favre" you mean have a Hall of Fame career in which case I'd go with an unequivocated "No".

I guess it'll depend on the severity of the injury, but I think they'd call Vinny Testeverde (someone familiar with the system: wasn't he with NE for a short while?) to backup.
