Does having keepers affect other players' VBD value? (1 Viewer)

Does removing RB10 out of the draft pool make RB1 to RB9 anymore valuable?

Using the RB position...if there are 10 RB keepers from various owners, do you include those keepers' projections in the baseline, or should it be like those RB's do not exist (i.e. have zero fantasy points) which then affects the baseline and value of draftable RBs?

Does the fact that 10 of the top 24 RBs are keepers have an affect on the value of the 14 "draftable" RBs somehow?

If RB10 has a value of 50 without keepers, should that change at all?

If you take out keepers and remove their projections in the baseline, then it makes RB10 have a value of 75.

On one hand, I think that is not correct cause the baseline is the "worst starter", and not the 24th available RB? On the other hand I think that the increase in value shows the increased drop off of available RBs and does have some merit.

They exist. It's as if they've already been drafted. If the first guy in the draft takes RB10, RB1 is exactly as valuable as he was before; it's no different with keepers.

It doesn't change the value of RBs, but it changes the value of draft picks. If 9 of the top 10 RBs are already kept but Chris Johnson is still out there, then the #1 overall pick becomes SUBSTANTIALLY more valuable than the #2 overall pick, because the #1 pick is as valuable as the #1 in a redraft league, while the #2 pick becomes as valuable as the #15 or whatever in a redraft league.
