I had a Little Caesars at a lightning game recently and it was tolerable. The corner crust was good. Lots of that crap cheese. The marinara sauce they gave us was way worse than even Ragu.

Haven't had dominos in ages. Kind of surprised they are still around. I remember it being horrid.

Whatever Dominos did recently changing their formula made their stuff worse IMO. I was a driver for them in high school and I'm pretty loyal with products and vendors, but their pizza just isn't good any more. Little Ceasers was never good but their owner also owns the Tigers and Red Wings so I'd get a pie from there before Dominos these days.

That said we have three really good local pizza places here including one about 500 meters away, so this isn't really an issue for me.

that $5 lunch deal with little Ceaser's gets me quite a bit. if cooked well definitely wins this

Sometimes the speed and ease of Little Ceasars is worth it. Only potential benefit to Dominos would be range of choices.

I seriously don't know how Domino's is in business.

When I am feeling frugal, 2 pizzas from Little Caesar's for 10 bucks does the trick.

I can only figure most voting for Little Ceasars haven't eaten at either or both of these places in a while. A good assumption as every FBG has the best local pizza joint in the world conveniently located right down the street. Domino's isn't great, but it's gotten a little better over the last couple of years. It's perfectly tolerable and not a huge step below Papa Johns now (and a lot better than Pizza Hut).

Little Ceasar's, on the other hand, is absolutely dreadful. Even at $6 with no wait, it's still not worth it.

I love pizza, but my body hates Dominos. That stuff will run right through me.

Little Ceasar's is a regular meal at the Peak house. It may not be the best pizza, but it is the best of the cheap pizza...and those breadsticks are great!

Haven't bought either in ages, but if you were asking me, and you are, it would not be Little Greasers. .

Papa johns and others 1 notch above these run enough specials that it's usually just as cheap to do one of those. Maybe like $7 instead of $6

It's still pizza, I'll eat either, but would only choose to buy one of these for a kids bday party

I am the opposite of this. I never thought much of Dominos, but I like them now that they changed.

We have a chain around here called Marcos that I like the best.

I cannot believe people still eat this stuff outside of college.

The one appeal to them was their late delivery hours. I'm always amazed at how they are open when they stop delivering at 9 PM along with the rest of their competition.

I can't have dominos in my house. Wife thinks because the original owner (that sold out back in 98) supports anti-abortion movements that we would be funding a protest at a local abortion clinic if we ordered one.

It turns out I don't like either pizza verry much so it's not an issue.

Little Ceasars is edible when fresh. Next day it looks like cardboard and you realize how little ingrdiants are on the pizza when everything settles. Just never liked the flavor of Dominos pizza.

Little Caesar's is now just a premade frozen pie. The people at the franchise simply open the plastic packaging and throw it in the conveyor oven. It is literally the same quality of a frozen pizza, because it is a frozen pizza.

Haven't had either in years. No way would I bring one of these pies home

when for $3.50 you have a superior pizza sitting in your freezer. For me

it's Red Baron pepperoni. On the road I might opt for a Little Ceasar's

hot n ready. Domino's isn't good at $6 let alone $8 to $10.

I think Dominos is decent since the rebranding. Before that I would have said Little Caesars easily, nowadays I'd say Dominos easily. But I haven't had Little Caesars in a long time (closest one is probably 4-5 miles which is too far for cheap pizza) so maybe their quality has changed too.

I generally will opt for a higher end frozen pizza over either. Especially where a higher end frozen pizza is normally $5-7.

Much like everybody, I have an amazing pizza place nearby. But by the time I order a large with a few toppings and a salad and have it delivered, it's almost 45 bucks. Some of these pizza shops are out of their mind now.

:bowtie:

Although rated as the best in the world by endless publications (below is just the first page of Google, it goes on for dozens of pages), I think there are better in my neighborhood.

I consider myself an expert in the pizza category and location gives me the ability to try the best places whenever I want.

I can't put a vote down here bc I haven't had Little Caesers in probably 20+ years, but I would say Dominos is perfectly adequate at 3am when incoherent and will only be vaguely remembered. There is one 2 blocks from my house and once every few months when stumbling home, I'll grab a medium pie and scarf that #### down, always makes me happy, but the unhappiness sets in when I wake up and see the empty box in the morning. Even in a completely ####faced state of mind, their cheese bread / sticks have fallen to ####, can't even order them after 18 drinks. I actually ordered it 2 weeks ago to pick up while in a taxi on the ride home, I was so ####ed up I never stopped in to grab it :kicksrock:

I don't like the re-branded domino's at all and if forced to order delivery chain pizza prefer Papa John's...

Little Caesar's pizza is fair to poor, but, put it together with the bread-sticks and dipping sauce where you can dip all the slices too and sometimes when the old lady is out of town it'll fill me up for 3 straight meals for $6.

Like you mention, I have a local place that is far superior; when I order on a weekend, that's the call. WIth 3 kids in or approaching teen-hood, there are some times when time is more important. We have a LC next door to my girl's dance studio, so there is no thought to get a couple there if we are in a crunch for the evening. It's faster than burger-based fast food.

Didn't order Dominos for years. After the rebranding they are pretty good.

Little Ceasers is crap. Only meant to be consumed by children and drunks.

My preferred place is Wolfman Pizza. A local with several locations. Voted best pizza in Charlotte for something like 10 years in a row at one point.

I don't order Papa Johns. Ever. But that's a personal beef.

Disclaimer - I have worked for everyone mentioned in this post. Either in management or driving.

Of the low grade chains:

Papa John's - about 1/2 sugar.

Pizza Hut - at least 1/2 salt.

Little Caesar's - Mostly cardboard, but tolerable on occasion

Dominoes - easily the best of the four. Could eat it regularly.

Dominos in a landslide over all the other ####ty pizza. I have to be hammered in a strange town after midnight to even consider any of them.
