I didnt want to insult her by just not eating the food so I needed a way around that. She doesnt have to cook for me but she insists on being the only one who cooks.

Anyone could find themselves in a similiar situation concerning a girlfriends parents and it isnt easy

I'd say the best workaround is to tell her you don't have access to a kitchen and ask if you can cook with her because you miss it so much. And when you're cooking with her, make things better.

That would raise questions about where I live that I cant cook and my girl doesnt want them to know where I live, and frankly neither do I.I think she is realizing what kind of food comes back with an empty plate from me. Last weekend was very good

I have not yet ventured into that other thread, but don't you smoke herb? That won't make you eat anything?

In that case my personal go to is to workout two hours or so before dinner or whatever. High intensity intervals seem to work best to stoke my appetite.
