Donovan McNabb (1 Viewer)

Any fantasy owners affected by tihs HUGE stat change? Donovan should have another throwing TD, to Correll Buckhalter which they have changed to a catch, and not a fumble by Reggie Brown. Does anyone have a link to a video of this play?

They haven't listed their stat changes for week 10 yet though. I am guessing the commish would have to go in and change the stats manually per the owner's request anyway.

For what its worth, I was at the game and watched it on the big screen. There was no doubt it was a fumble.

Andy Reid addressed it in his post game conference. The exchange went something like this (paraphrasing"

Reporter "did you get a chance to ask Reggie if it was a lateral to Buck?"

Reid "No...I didn't need to..That was a fumble" :clearsthroat:

I won my game by one point against the donovan owner, looks like I won't be making the playoffs now. Such is fantasy football. It was clearly a fumble so I don't know why if it is not conclusive, like giving a sack to the right guy, they would change it.

If you watch the replay, you can see that Reggie didn't have possession, so it couldn't be ruled a fumble.

You really think Brown caught that ball?

Guy has to catch the ball for it to be a fumble. Think of it as a tipped ball. The correction is correct and was odvious to anyone watching the game and understands the rules of things.

He caught the ball and was setting up to make a spin move of some sort when it was poked out. That was my view of it.

FYI..........the fellas over at MyFantasyLeague have a call into to Elias.....as soon as they get confirmation of the "official" change.......they'll list it in the "support" forums under "stat changes".

As a McNabb owner, I was originally pissed because it seemed like a tip and a catch to me, and I though McNabb should definitely get credit for it; but I won both my games handily, so it doesn't really matter.

any chance this is corrected and affects this past sunday's results?

They need to change that fumble recovery for a TD into a TD for Chester Taylor. Taylor definitely looked like he crossed the plane before he fumbled.

I see that Yahoo is reporting this as recent news for McNabb but the yahoo stats are not updated yet. Will they make this change in yahoo leagues or will each league have to make its own changes? I also did not see the change at NFL.com on the week 10 scores.

The stat correction had a huge impact in one of my leagues. It not only cost me the win, but also the #1 seed for the playoffs (instead the McNabb owner got the #1 seed). I lost in the first round of the playoffs, the McNabb owner won the championship. If I had been seeded #1, the McNabb owner would have been kicked out in the first round and my team would have been champion...

So the stat correction decided the eventual champion - but that's fantasy football... :D

Sore loser. The stat correction changed a wrong into a right. Why complain?

Where did I complain about the stat correction or doubt its correctness? :banned: I just wanted to show what a big influence one little play can have on the fortunes of two teams.
