Timmy doesn't think these statements are doom and gloom. Here is a definition of doom and gloom...

In the Obamacare thread he told someone not to write doom and gloom statements and I said just like he did in the Sequester thread. Timmy said he'd give me $100 if I showed a link that show him using doom and gloom statements. I did and he claims those aren't doom and gloom comments and won't pay.

Timschochet said he would pay $100 if someone produced quotes of him stating doom and gloom in the sequester thread. This was produced quite quickly and easily since Timmy went on for days on end with doom and gloom quotes from himself and from the media and the White House.

For Tim to say his quotes were taken out of context when he went on with doom and gloom for weeks is both sad and pathetic. The fact that he won't pay the $100 shows what a weasel he is.

I've explained myself at length on this subject already. I hated the sequester because it was stupid, but I criticized Obama for predicting catastrophe. I predicted that there would be stupid pain, and that it would kill some contractors' business, and that it would be a disaster for the military. All that turned out to be true.

The phrases "kill contractors" and "disaster" were within the context of the people the Sequester was affecting. But Obama and the Democrats predicted it would affect everyone, that it would be a calamity for the nation. I disagreed with that stance and stated it at the time.

I don't owe Tinker Bell any money. If I did, I would pay him instantly. I don't welch on promises or wagers, ever.

I don't know or care, but this does remind me of my boss. He is never wrong (has a sign in his office that says, "I'm not bossy, I just know more than you.") However, when the facts clearly prove him wrong, he claims that others misinterpreted his statements and then goes on and on about how we were actually the ones that were wrong because of our faulty interpretations.
