okay i would say. looked a little on the chunky side if i'm honest. he did what he had to do but nothing spectacular. coverage (what there was of it) was more on Breaston who looked a lot more explosive.

He caught 6 of 7 passes thrown his way. Most of those passes were short ranged passes (nearly all of Warner's passes were short ranged on Sunday). He's a physical WR that will have a place in this league, but I wouldn't be surprised to see the Cardinals make him inactive once Boldin does return.

He dropped one really nice Warner pass, but bounced back to make some steady plays. I agree that Boldin and Breaston are above him in the depth chart, but he didn't embarrass himself, either.

Bump. Anyone think he won't even get a shot in AZ? Even Urban is active ahead of him.
What timeframe are you talking? Cards raved about him early in camp, but then he hurt his hamstring. This year, he won't make any noise barring injuries to the Cardinals starting WRs. Long term, he could be a beast if Boldin gets his wish and is traded next year. Will that happen? Hard to say. As a hard-core Cards fan, I hope Boldin retires here. Cards fans are generally split though. Boldin is going to want huge money, Fitz money. The arguement goes that if you traded Boldin, you could use the picks and cash in a lot of areas the cards are hurting in such as the O-line. Like I said though, I hope he stays.I think he has a lot of talent long-term. He may have to wait a long time to get his shot though.

I was thinking the same thing. Just discouraging to see Urban ahead of him at this point. If we had larger rosters I wouldn't even think about cutting him. I'll probably try to keep him and cut a Brandon Lloyd type instead.
