Was pretty phenomenal once he moved to Detroit last year. Last 3 years he averaged a 1.18 WHIP and 3.5 ERA. Why is he being drafted so low?

He had 7 starts v. Cle, Min, and KC when he was traded to Det. I think he is a solid starter, but nothing that warrants him getting drafted higher. 146 K'sin 216 innings is a big part of it too. I would much rather have a Gavin Floyd, Jon Danks, or Brandon McCarthey in that area.

He's a good balance guy if you have high K/WHIP guys and need some ERA and WHIP support. He's probably between 35 and 45 in starting pitchers and the knobs who think they only need to roster high K guys often let him fall to 50+. He's the only Tiger I have on my keeper team, I like his value.

That's largely driven by last year and his ERA should have been nearly a full run higher. He's being drafting about right.

I think in that division he could win 20. I got him in te 20th round of a 10 team as my 7th sp in a league where we start 6 It's combined points and not categories so he has a bit more value there but he goes deep in games and is in some pretty pitcher friendly parka

I'm looking at adding him in our supplemental. I already have Scherzer locked up - and I HAD Verlander last year but traded him for Pujols, Haren and BJ Upton (who I had to drop after last year). I sent two so so players in that deal with Verlander...A Ramirez and Chris Perez.

News Flash::: this is the division he plays in....that number of starts against weak opponents will only be increased.
