Downgrade Arizona D? (1 Viewer)

Per Rotoworld:

Cardinals DE Darnell Dockett (hamstring) is doubtful for Week 4.

Dockett has not practiced this week after injuring his hamstring in the fourth quarter of Sunday's win over the Eagles. If Dockett does not play, the Cardinals will likely turn to Vonnie Holiday to play opposite Calais Campbell. Dockett has only missed one out of a possible 131 career games.

How much does this hurt the Arizona D this week?

It hurts, but it's not the end of the world. The Cards have some good guys that could fill in.I'm not so sure Holiday would be the guy. He usually backs up Campbell on the right side. Nick Eason would probably start, and there has been talk that David Carter (nose tackle) could also play in that spot this week.

Agree with kutta above - while it always hurts to have a veteran starter out, Dockett being out won't turn a very good defensive unit into an average one - Cardinals have plenty of other good players on that side of the ball

Im starting them! I also have the Seattle D vs STL. I just have a good feeling about them at home this week with or without Dockett! Please see my link below. Thanks and good luck.http://forums.footballguys.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=660049

I have Reggie Bush & I'm still starting BJGE in his place, start 2rb's. The other is DMC against Denver. Even if I were to start Bush I wouldn't downgrade 'Zona's defense because Dockett is out. Hell, they're kinda playing like my 49ers were last year so I'd start them no matter the situation, unless half the starters were out, lol, but that's highly unlikely.

Miami offense is terrible. On the road in Zona....I don't care who is in or out, Zona defense going to crush them. Zona defense has slowed down Phi and NE past 2 weeks. Both pretty solid offenses. Miami is one of the worst offenses in the league.

I would be more concerned about having a letdown game in general. Dockett out shouldn't them that much but I don't trust them yet.
