Didn't see it posted anywhere.

Raiders coach Lane Kiffin said in his post game press briefing that Oren O’Neal and Drew Carter had sustained knee injuries that will likely keep them out for the entire regular season.

More to come . . .

This is confirmed in a few places and the third major injury For Drew Carter, who did his knee with Ohio State and then the following year injured again as a rookie wiht the Panthers. He has never really done anything anyway in the NFL. Tough break though.

Man, I feel bad for Carter. The guy keeps getting pushed down...and he keeps getting back up again. I think he's actually tore his ACL 3x now.

I have watched all the games and to me Watkins and Schilens both have looked better than Higgins (Unfortunately I don't get a vote), to me Higgins looks nervous every time he catches the ball and he has fumble fingers. Higgins will probably be #3 to start the season, but he will cost us a game early and lose the spot.

Javon Walker at least showed a little something in this last game, not much, but something. I agree that TE Miller has been looking great, I wouldn't be surprised if he makes the top 10 this year among TE's.

....But word is they could be available come Playoff time.

Curry gets the biggest bump imo. I also think this means the Raiders are going to run more. With three very good backs, they can run all day, and can also get the backs involved in the passing game.

Higgins has looked very quick, but I just don't see him being a big part of the passing game.

Any other owners of Carter in dynasty thinking he's not worth IR'ing and should be cut outright? I just don't see the value of this guy after all this time and not much to show for it.

We won't know anything more about him in a year than we did when he entered the league as an athletic but raw WR prospect, except of course that he's failed to get it done so far.

I just don't see regretting giving him the axe.

Depends on your IR rules, but he's 27 and has shown good WR capability. I wouldn't be so fast to cut him.
