Three prominent Cleveland area high schools will begin doing hair analysis drug testing on ALL students in the fall...better not be smoking that joint over summer vacation! All three of these schools are private, so I suppose they have a right to institute whatever types of programs they want. If you don't like them, you can choose not to go there. As a parent, I sort of like this idea, but my kids are in public schools. In all honesty, if such a program had been in place at my school, I'd have been in a world of hurt my senior year. Although, I suppose, I wouldn't have done some of the things I did. I wonder if a program like this will increase the alcohol abuse as students move away from other substances.

In another twist to this story, it is also being reported that the president of one of the schools is the brother of the head of the drug testing company being used. Hmmmm...
