Dual Survival is a wilderness survival documentary television series on the Discovery Channel produced by Original Media.[1] The show follows two men showcasing contrasting survival skills and techniques. Cody Lundin; a minimalist and primitive skills expert, survives alongside Dave Canterbury; a military-style survival expert and professional hunting guide and tracker

I caught an episode from this season and immediately downloaded season 1. I've watched the first 7 episodes now. Totally hooked.

I'm not really into survival shows, but I saw the beginning of the desert episode and ended up watching 3 more.

The hippie guy is pretty awesome.

He actually didn't seem like a bad guy but when you are caught cheating red-handed, you pretty much slide to the bottom rung with me no matter what I thought of you previously.

To be honest, I am not sure. I really didn't pay a lot of attention to him other than noticing that he was a decent enough guy and usually friendly with his (stolen) chips.

Love the episode where he cut a gash in his own arm and then lit black powder to cauterize the wound shut. Good to see that in practice since everyone keeps a stash of black powder handy.

I hear Cody Lundin got fired over safety issues and they are bringing a new guy in, whose name is Matt Graham. No Cody, no Dual Survival. New guy is from another show called Dude you're screwed. I'm done with that show. Perhaps Cody and Dave Canterbury will get together on another network.
