Duckett: Moving or Staying Put? (1 Viewer)

So the news out of ATL is that Duckett is asking for a trade and that the Falcons may be starting him just to showcase him for trades.

How likely do you guys think it is that Duckett gets moved?

Also how much are you upgrading Dunn factoring in how much he would improve as the lone back and then discounting for the chance that Duckett stays?

I'm putting him up in my top 15 right around FWP and McGahee, but with more risk/upside than those guys.

Dunn's value stays the same imo with or without duckett...Dunn will not be the lone back...they got this guy called norwood...I hear he's pretty good

Unless some insane offer is made, Duckett will stay in ATL. Duckett WANTS to get moved, because he will continue to languish behind Dunn. He obviously WANTS to start, but won't until Dunn is gone.. by then, teams may pass over him...

I would assume that many people are bumping up Dunn and Duckett with all this trade talk going on.

Duckett gets moved up due the anticipation that he may be a #1RB somewhere

Dunn gets moved up due the the potential of getting less vulture TDs taken away from him by Duckett

Where are these guys going in drafts over the last couple days??

Thanks

not sure where he would be traded since Barlow was traded to the Jets

I have only drafted once in a 10 team redraft 1QB 3WR 2 RB 1TE 1Flex(WR/RB) 1K 1DEF and Duckett did not get drafted. My draft was only 16 rounds with the bye weeks you really need to have depth at WR so I am not surprised he didn't get drafted. I thought the word was coming from Atlanta that they were not looking to trade Duckett but hey you never know. I can't see the point of picking him up right now with the way my roster is situated two more rounds and I would have picked him.

I bet there are a couple of other teams interested in him, such as Pittsburgh, Miami, and possibly the Bengals.

Duckett's value just hit a new low, I don't see him going anywhere now and doing more then what he would do Atlanta. New York was his one shot at the golden ring, and he didn't get it.

I think the Falcons would be wise to hold on to Duckett this year, and do something with him next year. They play against some good run defenses this season, and they will need more than just Dunn, a rookie, and Vick running.

Steelers offered a 3rd on draft day. Now they have an excess of good WRs... the only drawback would be that they don't usually overpay for players and Duckett would demand too much $ after this year. Without a renegotiation at a decent price (unlikely), I don't see him going to Pitt. The contract year should be a sticking point for any suitors.

The real question to me is what is Jerrious Norwood's value if Duckett is traded? It's not like there's someone else to do the goaline work (of course, to me, that was an argument for why Duckett wouldn't get traded, which so far, he hasn't been...)
