The Denver Post is reporting that DJ Williams was pulled over for DUI this morning in Denver. This would be his second DUI.

??Id also like to know. Hoping its not Haggan or Hunter.whose the LBer to own if DJ gets a suspension?
Best guess is that Joe Mays would play the middle.whose the LBer to own if DJ gets a suspension?
Teams have been proactive about these kinds of situations lately -- i.e. suspending a player who would likely be suspended if the league had time to get the facts and make a decision. I'd work under the assumption that Williams won't play this week and possibly then be suspended by the league for as much as three additional weeks to follow.does the fact that DEN sent him home today right after he got to practice mean hes out this week?
Most pundits agree with your view point of next yearWouldn't the suspension most likely be appealed and pushed until the start of next season? If not, this could be ugly and really costly for some people trying to qualify for the playoffs let alone the playoffs themselves.

The Broncos are leaning toward suspending Williams for the first quarter of Sunday's game against the Chiefs, Lindsay Jones of the Denver Post reports.
"The Denver Broncos are extremely disappointed in D.J. Williams' careless and irresponsible actions on Friday morning. This type of behavior is taken very seriously by the organization.
"The Broncos have levied the heaviest fines possible to him for conduct detrimental to the club under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement due to the disruption and resulting impact on the team. He will not start in Sunday’s game against the Chiefs and has been stripped of his captaincy for the season.
"Any further possible discipline stemming from this incident will be determined by the league's policies and the legal system."
This was my thought too. What if the keep him out???DJ for 3 quarters or start Fujita? That's what I'm looking at.Is he still startable over LBs ranked 30+ for this week? 3 quarters against the Chiefs should still be good tackle opp I'd imagine, but there's the risk he's benched longer than just 1 quarter.
