The Denver Post is reporting that DJ Williams was pulled over for DUI this morning in Denver. This would be his second DUI.

Just wonderful. I cannot afford to have him sit this week since I'm already swamped with byes. Having him sit before the league gives him any suspension is just stupid.

Teams have been proactive about these kinds of situations lately -- i.e. suspending a player who would likely be suspended if the league had time to get the facts and make a decision. I'd work under the assumption that Williams won't play this week and possibly then be suspended by the league for as much as three additional weeks to follow.

Wouldn't the suspension most likely be appealed and pushed until the start of next season? If not, this could be ugly and really costly for some people trying to qualify for the playoffs let alone the playoffs themselves.

This was my thought too. What if the keep him out???DJ for 3 quarters or start Fujita?That's what I'm looking at.

With looking wk 4-8 I figure he will get about 9-10 pts.
