It wasn't the kind of situation where the system got him 17 sacks and will now get someone else 15 IMO. His sacks were a product of his crazy combo of speed, power, and his leverage getting under guys pads to get by them. Bottom line, I don't think his replacement necissarily has any FF value.
Ayers has been coming on strong from the SOLB spot. He's strong and has a real good bllrush, but I haven't seen him use much else. He can collapse the pocket and may get some tackle opps, but until he adds to his bullrush (which is impressive), I'm not sure he gets to double-digit sacks and I certainly don't think he approaches the 17 sacks Doom had last year. Denver might move him around on the DL in nickel and dime sets too--looking for favorable matchups along the line.
Jarvis Moss has been up and down on the other side and the defence may rotate others with him as the season goes on. Moss has flashed some real explosiveness off the edge, but it hasn't been consistent. They picked up a guy from Detroit whose name escapes me, but really, outside of Ayers and maybe Moss, I don't see too many guys with high sack upside.
