Dynasty: 2014 Startup Draft Results Thread (2 Viewers)

Am I the only one that couldn't take that draft serious after the first round?
Just curious, but what about it makes you not able to take it serious? Who are some outliers? I can tell you that the people have been taking it serious. At this point it's in the 12th round and it's slowing down as interest is wading, but people have been taking it serious up until this point. The fact that most people are taking the time to leave comments next to their picks usually shows that people aren't just blindly picking because they don't care.

The only pick I thought seemed out of place was DeAndre Hopkins at 2.04 ahead of a bunch of guys I couldn't take him over, but even the drafter called the pick "reachy" and it's not anything too crazy.

Maybe it is just me, but I never look more than 3 years into the future with dynasty leagues. Players and injuries change the landscape so much.

Hopkins, Cooks ahead of Calvin and Jordy.

Keenan Allen at 3.01 is at least 1 round to high.

Montcrief, Robinson, Adams ahead of Hill. It would take 2 of those guys to get me to trade Hill for them.

Lynch in the 7th is low by about 2 rounds.

No scoring requirements either so if this is a start 2 rb league or start up 3 in the flex spots then running backs are way under valued.

Overall a terrible MOCK. No idea who's making these picks but I suspect someone is trying to drive up prices on players they own. That's honestly only thing that makes sense.

Yes it's all a giant conspiracy. I staged it all in hopes that one of my league mates will see how high I value XXX player. How did you know!??!?!

The whole reason we have these threads and why people want to see other peoples drafts is because we want to see how others perceive players. If you don't want to see how others perceive players, go stare at your own rankings for a few minutes and pat yourself on the back instead of coming into this thread and pissing over someone for contributing.

Looks legit to me. Every startup draft will have its outliers. This is one is fairly youth-centric (and WR centric), which, if I were in it, I might find a little more challenging.

Thanks for posting.
