I agree, I'm going to let it go. It really doesn't matter to me what Funchess get drafted as to be honest. I do believe he brings something to the table just my own opinion just I believe that he is better suited as a TE.Tex, it's best to let it go. The dude clearly thinks he's the only one with any original analysis of players. Apparently, we all read what is written about a player and take it as gospel. It's his only retort any time someone disagrees with him. "Oh, you don't like Player X, you must've read that somewhere." It's a tired and lazy argument.
As for Funchess, Xue is either going to be vindicated (to an extent) when the guy is used as a WR and flourishes, or he's going to be harrassed endlessly for failing so bad (ask EBF re: Mendenhall, Forte, etc). As has been seen, it's probably not best to hitch your wagon so heavily to one guy. Especially someone with so many question marks concerning where/how he fits. Banging the drum so hard that Funchess has the physical tools to be a successful WR in the NFL has very little upside. And I don't get why he seems to take anyone's disagreement so personally.
I don't get why you're taking my analysis so personally either. You sound like you know me so well. Just another hater here to slander me and cares more about politics than actual player evalutation.Tex, it's best to let it go. What's tired and lazy is that jurb and Tex only keep banging the drum for Funchess to be a TE when another news piece comes out. Have I been doing that for a media piece for Funchess to be a WR?
You're just as biased against me as those two just in here sidebusting with nothing informational to add.
jurb was pretty dead wrong on Marqise Lee. Yet he continued to debate endlessly and blindly. Why don't you go back to that discussion? Oh it's because it goes against your agenda.

My issue is that you seem to think you are furthering discussion, being insightful, thought-provoking or whatever, but you're not really doing that. As I said before, you seem to enjoy being combative just for the sake of being combative. You have a truly warped sense of how you come off to those in this thread.
Yes, he looks about 215.Does Sammie Coates look bigger than 200 to anyone else? He doesn't look 10+ pounds ligher than, say, Sammy Watkins to me.

Agholor ---> Wayne seems like an odd one to me. Wayne is a technician and great route runner. Not sure I'm seeing that with Agholor. Maybe my memory of Wayne at Mia is off.Faust said:
ESPN's Todd McShay reports that despite a strong RB class in the 2015 NFL Draft, junior RB Tevin Coleman could still be a Day 2 pick.
Coleman hasn't officially run off into the college football sunset, but all signs are pointing toward him declaring for the 2015 draft. If so, he's got a bit of competition, as this year's class is one of the more loaded RB classes in recent memory. Among the top names that Coleman might be joining are Georgia's Todd Gurley, Wisconsin's Melvin Gordon, Nebraska's Ameer Abdullah and Boise State's Jay Ajayi etc etc. McShay notes that Coleman's ability to accelerate up-field "jumps out on his tape" and could see him plucked off the board on the second day of the draft. "He also shows very good burst to and through the hole, and while he doesn't have great wiggle to make defenders miss in space (he also needs to get stronger), he's still fast enough to run away from most linebackers and many defensive backs if he gets into a foot race." Coleman's averaging a gaudy 8.8 YPC this season.

TFY Draft Insider Tony Pauline believes Florida senior QB Jeff Driskel "from a pro perspective just looks lost."
"When you look at him from a pro perspective, he just looks lost. He looks like he doesn't have a grasp of their offensive system, which was supposed to be tailored to better suit what he does," Pauline wrote. In the Florida prospect's last outing he went 7-for-19 with 50 yards passing, with two interceptions in a 42-13 loss to Missouri. Pauline notes that Driskel's "accuracy is awful," but "the physical ability is there, but he shows nothing in the way of having the natural ability to play quarterback."

Al.com reports that Alabama redshirt senior QB Blake Sims plans on working on his "footwork and getting the ball out faster."
"Just keep working on my footwork and getting the ball out faster," Sims told Greg McElroy on his Sirius XM radio show. "I think one thing that everybody's going to see that I'm working on right now that they will see at LSU is that I will be getting the ball out much faster." The Crimson Tide prospect completed 14-of-24 passes for 286 yards and two touchdowns in Saturday's win against Tennessee. Sims also rushed six times for 42 yards and added a score on the ground.

He looks legit. Big time prospect.DeVante Parker putting on a clinic vs the #2 team and a top 2 CB tonight. 200+ yards!

Louisville WR DeVante Parker says his foot was still bothering him tonight and that, at 100%, he would've scored on the first play.

Could be the #1 wild card in the draft for FF purposes. Three weeks ago his career was on life support. Now it looks like he could play his way into late day 2 consideration with a strong finish to the season. Dude has been beasting the last two weeks. Love the acceleration and speed for such a strong back:And he's going to be available late. Delicious.#Dyer
On 4th and 2? I don't think so.Wasn't Parker the one that dropped that 4th down pass that cost them a shot at the game?
CBS Sports' Dane Brugler compares Nebraska senior RB Ammer Abdullah to "a tougher, better version of Andre Ellington."
While NFL Media's Mike Mayock compared Abdullah to Giovani Bernard, Brugler disagreed on the comparison. However, Brugler did agree that like Giovani Bernard, Abdullah should be a second-round draft pick when it comes time to be drafted.

After holding this guy for YEARS in devy leagues through all the BS, drama, and injuries, it's great to see him finally "back" to the guy we saw at Auburn.
Louisville senior RB Michael Dyer rushed for 134 yards and three touchdowns on 28 carries in the school's 42-31 loss to FSU.
Dyer posted a ton of production early in this game, displaying the similar ability to when he played for Auburn. The running back's college career has been a winding road, starting for Auburn as a freshman then transferring to Arkansas State, then finding himself out of FBS football before transferring to Louisville. Head coach Charlie Strong is no longer with the school, but Dyer is still emerging as Louisville's top rushing threat.

CBS Sports' Dane Brugler wrote that Michigan junior WR Devin Funchess, "drops more easy passes than he should."
Brugler compared Funchess to the Lions' Eric Ebron, who was drafted in the first round last year (as Funchess most likely will be this season.) Funchess is in a strange situation, as he's a physical stud at 6-foot-5, 230-pounds stuck in a Michigan offense that simply doesn't work. Brugler wrote that he's been "better at receiver this season than he was the past two years at tight end, demonstrating the combination of size, body control and sticky hands to project very well to the next level." Rotoworld's Josh Norris referred to Funchess as "a lethal vertical receiver, thanks to his downfield speed and potential catch radius." Given his size, Norris believes that an obvious NFL comparable would be Panthers' rookie WR Kelvin Benjamin, who is currently in the thick of the NFL Rookie of the Year race.

biggest takeaway from this wr class, identify the values and try to get them in the pick 12-18 range. More quantity than quality in this class. I have a few I like more than others right now and others who have higher ceilings, but if I'm assigning grades to them they're all very close together. If you can't get a stud rb and don't need a qb (Mariota) then trade down, this is a year to have more darts if you dont have a top 3-4 pick. Probably can't make that trade until close to the draft though. Need the hype machine to start propping some players up.Anybody mind sharing their top 5-10 WRs in the class? Gracias.
