TCU senior QB Trevone Boykin completed 35-of-57 passes for 445 yards, one touchdown and four interceptions in Saturday's 49-29 upset loss to Oklahoma State.
Upset loss for the Horned Frogs, so much as one can be upset by an undefeated team. Boykin lost leading wide receiver Josh Doctson to a wrist injury early in the contest, which severely handicapped the TCU passing game. To whit, this was the first time in TCU's last eight games that the 6-foot-2, 205-pound Boykin's failed to throw for at least two touchdowns. Despite the tough day, those in daily leagues shouldn't expect Boykin to suddenly fall apart. He remains one of the best quarterbacks in the country.

As a OSU Beaver I understand your love for Jordan Villamin but I don't see him declaring this year and not one of the top tier WR's. That being said I think he has the potential to be in that class next year and am an owner in a dynasty developmental league.3quinox said:treadwell/ezekiel

Michigan State senior QB Connor Cook completed 23-of-37 passes for 335 yards, four touchdowns and an interception in Saturday's 39-38 upset loss to Nebraska.
Cook's thrown four touchdown passes in each of his last two games. Unfortunately, he made a rare mental mistake on his final pass of the game, throwing the ball out of bounds as time expired to eliminate any slim chance of victory. Boneheaded play aside, the 6-foot-4, 218-pound senior is considered one of the best quarterback prospects in the country. He's passed for 2,405 yards (58.1% completions) with a 21/3 TD/INT ratio over nine games. Given his recent production, those in daily leagues should feel safe inserting him into their lineups down the stretch.
On Thursday, Miss State senior QB Dak Prescott joined Tim Tebow, Aaron Murray, Danny Wuerffel, Peyton Manning and Chris Leak as the only signal-callers in SEC history to throw for 100-plus touchdowns.
Prescott tossed four touchdowns to help down Mizzou on Thursday, with the final one being his 100th career scoring toss. The 6-foot-2, 230-pound senior's accounted for 25 total touchdowns this season over nine games. 18 of those have come through the air, with an additional seven on the ground. He's been particularly prolific passing of late, with 10 touchdown tosses in his last three games.

Dak Prescott - QB - Bulldogs
Mississippi State senior QB Dak Prescott said, "I’ve beaten every team in the SEC West besides [Alabama]. I want to go do it."
Prescott and his Bulldog buddies host the Crimson Tide on Saturday. The confidence is there, at least, as the 6-foot-2, 230-pound senior said that he believes he's "better at every aspect of the quarterback position" this season. The numbers back Prescott up well enough. In 2014, he tossed 11 interceptions in 396 pass attempts. This time around, he's thrown just one in 300 pass attempts. He's also accounted for 25 total touchdowns. Prescott's final word: "There’s no better time to go [beat Alabama] than my last year in front of my home crowd."

Lawrence Thomas - RB - Spartans
Michigan State redshirt senior DL Lawrence Thomas received an invite to the Senior Bowl.
We know of relatively few Senior Bowl invites, but Sparty has confirmed that five of its players -- QB Connor Cook, C Jack Allen, WR Aaron Burbridge, and DE Shilique Calhoun are the others -- have received invites, tying the school record for most players receiving an invitation to a senior all-star game. "The bottom line is that the NFL scouts are going into Michigan State on a regular basis because they're going to see legitimate players,'' Senior Bowl executive director Phil Savage said. "After practice we interviewed eight players, and Dave Warner and Harlan Barnett, and of course Mark Dantonio." The Senior Bowl is reportedly still considering OL Donavon Clark, CB Arjen Colquhoun, LB Darien Harris, DT Joel Heath, WR Macgarrett Kings Jr. and S RJ Williamson for invites.

Notre Dame junior WR Will Fuller told reporters he plans to return to school for the 2016 season rather than enter the NFL draft.
Fuller said he wants to earn his degree. It is a somewhat surprising decision to announce this early, and there is still plenty of time for him to change his mind. We've seen it happen in the past. Fuller currently projects as a vertical role player who can stretch defenses and convert big plays. That is a huge positive. Maybe Fuller wants to balance out his game and lower his drop rate next rate, which currently stands around 12 percent.

Mississippi State senior QB Dak Prescott has been invited to the Senior Bowl.
No word yet on whether he's accepted, but Prescott has plenty of time to decide. "Dak is a great CFB player who is more of a 'power thrower' than 'precision passer,'" tweeted Executive Director of the Senior Bowl Phil Savage. "Accuracy is the [question] NFL scouts have on him." Prescott will have plenty of chances to show he's capable of touch on Saturday against Alabama's aggressive defense. Earlier this week, Prescott said: "There’s no better time to go [beat Alabama] than my last year in front of my home crowd."

Pittsburgh junior RB James Conner is "not quite" ready to return to the field from a torn MCL.
Conner suffered a torn MCL in the school's opening game of the season, but head coach Pat Narduzzi said one month ago that Conner might return this year. "(Doctors) tell me he's a certain percentage," running backs coach Andre Powell said. "When they say he's 100, then I'm ready to have him back." Conner was one of the top backs in the country last season and slimmed down in the hopes of gaining speed.

Michigan State QB Connor Cook has been invited to the Senior Bowl.
Rotoworld's Josh Norris has heard that Cook is no lock to accept the invitation. A number of big name quarterbacks have turned down the event in recent years, including Geno Smith, A.J. McCarron, Brett Hundley and Marcus Mariota. Cook still has plenty to prove, but to his credit there is a large amount of "pro style" tape for evaluators to breakdown. As we found at last year, scouts love that "pro style" stuff.

Oregon LB Rodney Hardrick believes Stanford senior QB Kevin Hogan is "more likely to run" on designed plays this year than in seasons past.
Stanford ground game has been carried by Christian McCaffrey, but Hogan rushed for 112 yards against Washington State, including a 59 yard score. Hogan is using his mobility well this season, specifically in a controlled manner to buy space to throw or pick up yards once the defense leaves areas unoccupied.

The Senior Bowl has invited ECU TE Bryce Williams to the event.
Williams typically lines up in the slot and runs crossing routes over the middle of the field. ECU also asks Williams to move into an H-back role and block on the edge or at the second level, where he shows effort and willingness. Williams might have some similarities to Jace Amaro.

Connor Cook - QB - Spartans
Michigan State senior QB Connor Cook did not earn the start against Maryland, with junior Tyler O'Connor starting in his place.
As of now, the reasoning for Cook's "benching" is unknown. O'Connor led Michigan State to a touchdown on the first drive. Who knows if Cook will return on the second drive or the second quarter or even the second half. The answer will likely be given after this game.

Trevone Boykin - QB - Horned Frogs
TCU senior QB Trevone Boykin left Saturday's game against Kansas in the second quarter with an ankle injury.
Boykin twisted his ankle in the first quarter but kept playing. Still gimpy 20 minutes or so later, HC Gary Patterson sent him to the locker room, probably so a doctor can look at the ankle to see if a serious injury has occurred. Boykin limped into the bowels of the stadium. He's questionable to return.

Tyler Boyd - WR - Panthers
Pitt junior WR Tyler Boyd caught three passes for 38 yards and added another 79 rushing yards on eight carries in the school's 31-13 win over Duke.
Boyd was the school's second leading rusher and second leading receiver on the day. The junior is at his best in the slot as a receiver, catching a very large percentage of his targets (near 80%). It is always important to get the ball to your best players, and Pitt is doing their best to manufacture touches for Boyd.
Nov 14 - 3:16 PM
West Virginia junior RB/WR Wendell Smallwood rushed for 165 yards on 24 carries in Saturday's 38-20 win over Texas.
Another outstanding game for one of the nation's most underrated runners. Smallwood hasn't been held under 88 rushing yards all season and he's topped 100 yards in six of his last seven games. The 5-foot-11, 201-pound Smallwood had an eight-yard reception today and also hasn't been held without a catch yet.
Michigan State senior QB Connor Cook finished Saturday's 24-7 win over Maryland on the sideline with a shoulder injury.
Cook completed 6 of 20 attempts for 77 yards and an interception after entering the game (he did not start). Cook then landed on his shoulder after a pass and was in obvious pain. He tried to continue but was visibly impacted and grimacing. He sat the rest of the way. Michigan State faces Ohio State next weekend.
Auburn junior RB Jovon Robinson had 12 carries for 93 yards in Saturday's 20-13 loss to Georgia.
We're confused that Auburn didn't utilize Robinson more often this afternoon. When they did, he made plays, just like he did last week while tearing up Texas A&M. But the school rotated Robinson today with the less effective Peyton Barber. The pathetic passing attack cost the Tigers this game, but they'd really help their cause if they simply began handing off to their most dangerous playmaker more often. Robinson, a 6-foot-1, 220-pound JUCO transfer product, was a five-star recruit out of high school.
