Buffalo redshirt junior WR Anthony Johnson racked up six receptions for 155 yards and two touchdowns in Friday's victory against Ohio.
Johnson, whose NFL Draft stock has been on the rise, has posted three straight games with 150 or more yards while scoring eight receiving touchdowns during the span. Overall he has an impressive 76-1,356-14 line which will turn the head of any NFL scout. He'll be a huge factor for the Bulls as they go bowling after three straight wins to close out the season.
His Top 5 TEs Ranking is horrible!
Iowa senior RB Akrum Wadley rushed for 153 yards and three touchdowns on 19 carries in Friday's 56-14 bludgeoning of Nebraska.
Wadley finished up the regular-season campaign in superb style, with both the 153 yards rushing and three touchdowns representing bests on the year for the senior. The 5-foot-11, 185-pounder got his scoring bonanza started with a 20-yard touchdown scamper near the end of the first quarter, then followed it up with a pair of touchdowns in the third quarter as Iowa pulled away from the Cornhuskers after a tight start to the game. Through 12 games, Wadley has now rushed for 1,015 yards and nine touchdowns. He'll have one more opportunity to achieve statistical prominence when the Hawkeyes play their bowl game, then off to the NFL Draft.
Nov 24 - 7:19 PM
Diego State senior RB Rashaad Penny rushed for 203 yards and two touchdowns on 22 carries in Friday's 35-10 win over New Mexico.
Penny needed 176 yards to top 2,000 yards for the regular season. Mission accomplished and then a bit more. The 5-foot-11, 220-pound senior first found paydirt with a 20-yard touchdown run in the closing seconds of the first half, then followed that score up with an even more explosive 51-yard bolt to glory early in the third quarter. Penny was rolling through the first eight games of the season -- he surpassed 100 yards rushing in six of those contests -- but truly saved his best for last, gaining at least 200 yards on the ground in each of his last four games. For the campaign as a whole, the uber-productive back has rushed for 2,027 yards and 19 touchdowns across 12 games played.
An actual decent effort here. Take note of the QBs Tex.
I worry about his ten cent head.JohnnyU said:I'm thinking Rosen will be a better pro long term.
Franchising guys like Keenum is a bad idea.lod001 said:I think they would have to franchise tag him to keep him, especially if he wins a playoff game. Even with all the QBs coming out, the league is still QB starved.
UCLA junior QB Josh Rosen was removed from Friday's game with an undisclosed injury against Cal after being thrown to the ground.
Prior to exiting, Rosen completed 13 of 18 passes for 202 yards and two touchdowns in the first half. He landed hard when a defender grabbed Rosen's jersey, twisted him around and catapulted the quarterback to the ground after releasing the football. No information was given about the injury, but a head or shoulder injury could be assumed by the way Rosen landed. He was playing at a high level before the departure.
UCLA redshirt junior WR Jordan Lasley caught 12 passes for 227 yards and a touchdown in the school's 30-27 win over Cal on Friday.
That means Lasley's two-game line is 22 catches, 431 yards and four touchdowns against USC and Cal. Wow. His touchdown against the Bears was a perfectly executed back shoulder toss, as Lasley boxed out and won at the catch point. His emergence has been spectacular to watch.
I don't think the Colts will take a CB with their 1st. If Bradley Chubb isn't available they will take an offensive lineman.
Stanford HC David Shaw announced that redshirt junior RB Bryce Love (ankle) will be active for Saturday's game against Notre Dame.
As expected. Though there was little question that Love would play, it's an open question about how far his ankle has progressed. Love injured it near the end of October, missed the Oregon State game, and has been playing at less than 100-percent since. Love re-injured the ankle last week against Cal. The Heisman candidate has run for 1,723 yards and 16 touchdowns this season on 8.84 yards YPC.

Oregon senior RB Royce Freeman rushed for 122 yards and a touchdown on 19 attempts in Saturday's 69-10 victory against Oregon State.
Freeman had two of the team's five rushing scores in the rout of the rival Beavers as he set a new Pac-12 record for career rushing touchdowns (60). To add insult to injury for Oregon State, Freeman bumped former OSU RB Ken Simonton from the perch. Freeman will look to add to his total in the team's bowl game, up next.
Stanford redshirt junior RB Bryce Love finished with 20 rushes for 125 yards in Saturday's 38-20 win against Notre Dame.
Love averaged a solid 6.3 yards per carry, which is pretty good considering he was dealing with an ankle injury leading up to the game. He aggravated his injury last week in 'The Big Game' against California. If he was not at 100 percent, you could have fooled the Irish. Love will look to continue the good work in the Pac-12 Conference Championship Game next week against USC.
New Mexico State redshirt senior WR Jaleel Scott caught eight passes for 77 yards in Saturday's 17-10 win over Idaho.
Scott (6'6/215) wraps the current campaign the owner of a 64-908-8 receiving line. He's a sleeper candidate to watch for next spring's draft, with Draft Analyst's Tony Pauline comparing Scott to Alshon Jeffery earlier this month.
New Mexico State senior RB Larry Rose III rushed for 100 yards and two touchdowns on 22 carries in Saturday's 17-10 win over Idaho.
Rose (5'11/195) scored both of his touchdowns in the first quarter to provide the bulk of New Mexico State's offense on the afternoon. The senior stalwart has had himself an up-and-down campaign, but mostly down -- Saturday's 100-yard performance was just his second of the season. He opened his career with the Aggies posting back-to-back 1,000-yard campaigns, but failed to hit that mark in either of the last two seasons. He'll be on to the NFL Draft now that the season's in the books for New Mexico State.
Vanderbilt redshirt senior RB Ralph Webb rushed for 163 yards and two touchdowns in Saturday's 42-24 win over Tennessee.
Webb found the end zone from two yards out in the second quarter and 20 yards out in the fourth quarter to account for his pair of touchdowns on the evening. While the 5-foot-10, 190-pounder was unable to come through with his third consecutive season of at least 1,000 yards rushing -- much of that due to a poor first half to the campaign -- Webb picked up the pace with three games of at least 100 yards on the ground in Vandy's final six contests. As the Commodores fell short of bowl eligibility this year, Webb has now played his final game with the program and is free to begin prepping for the draft. He's a potential Day 2 pick, though Day 3 is probably more likely.
Oklahoma redshirt senior QB Baker Mayfield went 14-for-17 for 281 yards and three touchdowns in Saturday's 59-31 win over West Virginia.
Mayfield sat out the first drive as discipline for his antics against Kansas last week, and he was taken out early after the game got out of hand in the second half. When he was in, Mayfield looked like the Heisman winner he'll likely become next month. When he wasn't, Kyler Murray looked like a future candidate for marquee postseason awards. Mayfield has thrown for 4,097 yards with a 37/5 TD/INT rate this year. Next up, the Big 12 title game against TCU.
Tulsa senior RB D'Angelo Brewer ran for 255 yards and a touchdown on 34 carries in a 44-23 loss to Temple on Saturday.
Brewer (5'9/190) made it five straight 100-plus rushing yard games, and more impressively, back-to-back 1,400 yard seasons. Unfortunately, Brewer isn't able to make the Hurricane play defense. His score was a 14-yard scamper that briefly brought Tulsa back into the game at 31-20 with just over 10 minutes left in the fourth quarter. Brewer will likely be a day-three pick in the NFL Draft this spring.
Penn State senior TE Mike Gesicki caught five passes for 35 yards with two going for scores in a 66-3 win over Maryland on Saturday.
Gesicki (6'6/250) has now scored two touchdowns in back-to-back games, and five in his past three. The senior tight end is considered one of the best pro prospects at the position, and he's finished the year on a strong note; assuredly helping his draft stock this spring. He and the 10-2 Nittany Lions will likely finish their season in a high-profile bowl.
Colorado senior RB Phillip Lindsay rushed 18 times for 72 yards with a touchdown and he added one grab for 13 yards in Saturday's 34-13 loss at Utah.
There weren't a lot of highlights in this one from Rice-Eccles in Salt Lake City, but Lindsay's play certainly brightened the day. While he hasn't had a 100-yard game in a season-high three straight outings, he has managed to find the end zone at least one time in 10 of his 12 games. Unfortunately for Lindsay and his teammates the team needed a win to secure bowl eligibility, so his collegiate career is now over.
Washington junior RB Myles Gaskin rolled up 192 rushing yards and four touchdowns in Saturday's victory against Washington State.
Gaskin has posted 120 or more rushing yards in four of his past five outings, and he has at least 120 total yards from scrimmage in each of his past five contests. He has totaled 19 rushing touchdowns and three receiving scores this season, including a total of 10 trips to the end zone over the past four outings. Next up is the team's bowl game.
Washington State senior QB Luke Falk completed 37-of-55 passes for 369 yards, one touchdown and three interceptions in Saturday's loss at Washington.
Falk has managed 11 touchdowns and 11 interceptions over his past six games, a far cry from the impressive 19 TDs and two INTs he posted across the first six outings this season. The good news is that he'll have a few more weeks to practice as the Cougars get prepared for their upcoming bowl game.
Iowa senior RB Akrum Wadley has accepted an invite to play in the Reese's Senior Bowl.
Wadley (5'11/190) has rushed over a thousand yards in the last two years, and has added 62 catches in that time frame as well. He currently projects to most analysts as a day three selection. A strong group of practices could see him possibly improve into that second-to-third round range.

Miami senior TE Chris Herndon (MCL) has accepted an invitation to the Reese's Senior Bowl.
Herndon will not be able to play for the rest of the season after tearing his MCL, and had accepted his invitation to the Senior Bowl prior to the injury. His involvement in activities is "TBD" according to the bowl. Even with the injury, Herndon will likely be one of the first tight ends off the board in 2018.

Central Michigan senior TE Tyler Conklin has accepted an invitation to the Reese's Senior Bowl.
Conklin (6'4/240) missed the first four games of the year but still finished with 28 catches and five touchdowns. Mel Kiper recently called him a potential early Day 3 draft pick. Performing well in the Senior Bowl practices and game would go a long way towards justifying -- and possibly improving -- that stock.

MMQB's Albert Breer reports that Oklahoma redshirt senior QB Baker Mayfield has "a very good shot" of getting taken in Round 1 this spring.
Per the analyst, the NFL wasn't concerned by the antics against Kansas that caused Mayfield to be stripped of his captaincy and begin the game on the bench against West Virginia. "It feels to me like scouts are undeterred by the events of the last couple weeks, which is to say the momentum he’s built in NFL circles is still there," Breer wrote. Mayfield has thrown for 4,097 yards on 71.4 percent completions with a 37/5 TD/INT ratio this year. He has at least two games left, beginning with Saturday's Big 12 title game versus TCU.

Lol there’s one person on this list! What a waste of an article! GEZ!!!!
Miami junior RB Mark Walton will declare for the 2018 NFL Draft.
According to Inside the League's Neil Stratton, Walton has signed with agent Zac Hiller, ending his collegiate eligibility. Walton (5'9/205) will be an interesting evaluation for NFL scouts. The talent is obviously there -- he rushed for 428 yards on 7.6 YPC in four games this season before going down and dropped 1,117 yards and 14 scores on 5.3 YPC last year -- but Walton faces durability questions. He was shut down in early October due to an ankle injury. Last Month, NFL.com's Daniel Jeremiah wrote that Walton has "outstanding vision, instincts and balance" and is "ultra quick in short areas" in addition to being a "capable receiver out of the backfield." Right now, we'd peg him as a late-Day 2 or early-Day 3 value. That could change for the better or worse depending on his medicals and how he tests out in Indy at the NFL Combine.
