[Dynasty] 2019 NFL Draft Class (1 Viewer)

Bleacher Report's Matt Miller reports there is "talk around the league" that "the Bengals could be looking for a QB at 11."

Miller notes that it's something to watch for "if Zac Taylor is ready to find "his guy" in Cincy. Looking at the quarterbacks in this class, Oklahoma QB Kyler Murray will very likely be the No. 1 overall selection. Ohio State QB Dwayne Haskins will very likely be a top-10 selection leaving Missouri QB Drew Lock, Duke QB Daniel Jones, and West Virginia QB Will Grier as the next best quarterbacks available. Lock has even been mocked as high as No. 2 overall in a trade-up so he may very well already be off the board before pick No. 11 too. Either way, after Murray and Haskins the other quarterbacks would be a reach in the top half of the first round.

NFL Media's Lance Zierlein compared Missouri WR Emanuel Hall to Mike Wallace.

Hall (6'2/201) was a "one trick pony" at Mizzou according to Zierlein. He is second in this draft class in yards per route run with 4.14 and nearly always lined up as an outside receiver, catching just two passes from the slot last year. He only had 828 receiving yards last season but averaged 22.4 yards per reception. His deep threat ability should earn him consideration sometime on Day 2.

A scout told NFL Media analyst Lance Zierlein that what you see from Stanford TE Kaden Smith is what you're going to get.

The full quote from the NFC area scout: "Kind of what you see is what you get. I am cross-checking tight ends and I don’t think I would take him until Day 3. Nothing really stands out." Smith has long had a reputation as a jack-of-all-trades, master of none, so this isn't a huge surprise. Zierlein compares him to former Notre Dame TE Durham Smythe. "He has the focus and toughness to work over the middle, but he's unlikely to outfox man coverage," Zierlein writes. "He might not be dynamic enough to rise above TE2 status."

A scout told NFL Media's Lance Zierlein that you can't put the offensive struggles for Auburn on WR Darius Slayton.

"That whole thing was a disaster this year," the scout told Zierlein. "His quarterback wasn't good, the offensive staff was dysfunctional and they run an outdated offense anyway. I don’t put that on (Slayton)." Interestingly enough, a scout told Zierlein similar things about Jarrett Stidham, the quarterback this scout sort of throws under the bus. Zierlein compares Slayton to D.J. Chark, a late-second round selection in 2018. "His blazing speed is appealing, but teams will want to see more consistency from his hands and as a ball-tracker down the field," writes Zierlein. "With that said, he's more than just a field stretcher and has the traits and talent to become a WR2/3 with more work."

The Athletic's Dane Brugler projects Georgia WR Mecole Hardman as a 3rd or 4th Round pick.

Hardman (5'10/187) is a total projection as a player, but he has the traits to develop into a unique wide receiver at the next level. Blessed with 4.33-speed, Hardman projects as a potential deep threat, but he should be a special teams contributor right away. NFL Media's Lance Zierlein compares Hardman to Tyler Lockett, but it's worth mentioning that Lockett had tons of collegiate production while Hardman's best season was 35-543-7. Despite the lack of production, a fourth-round selection feels just about right given his athleticism.

Metcalf definitely. 2 or 3 of Harry, Campbell, AJ Brown, Butler, Isabella, Marqise Brown, Boykin, or Deebo could also go in the 1st. I'm just seeing a lot of 2nd rounders.

I think it's a pretty good WR and TE class, but that has been said enough.  The top of the draft is difficult to pick a 1.1 but that doesn't mean there aren't deserving players at the top. The WR and TE depth makes having a late first / early 2nd pretty nice.  Personally I like having one of the top 5, but there is plenty of depth in this draft.  If I had multiple first rd picks this would be a good year to trade one of them to a not-so-good team for a 2020 first.  The 2020 draft is loaded at RB.

Yep, at this point the arguments for and against the players have been made and there’s really no additional information that should change anything other than an appearance in the police blog, or video of beating another person or sparking up a spliff hitting the interwebs.

Sills (6'3/211) was one of the most productive wideouts in the country the last two years, particularly in the red zone with 33 touchdowns over his junior and senior seasons. Zierlein cites his strengths, including his feel for working in space and his ability to control his body in the air. He also notes that he can struggle with press coverage, and he had some issues with contested catches. "He needs to get stronger and more efficient with his press release technique and dig into the craft of route-running to make himself a more viable first- and second-level target," writes Zierlein. "He should continue to improve but the transition to the pros could be challenging early on." Expect Sills to be an early Day 3 selection at this point.

I like this guy a lot. I may target round 3 or hope he goes undrafted. 

Player profiler has an odd picture up for him. Has to be an inside joke of some kind. 

Underrated in general but a decent dart throw if you have room
