[Dynasty] 2022 NFL Draft Class (2 Viewers)

According to Jim Nagy, Ferguson has the most natural hands of any prospect in the draft.

Being an elite pass-catching tight end has become a dying art, especially in the NFL. You still have Travis Kelce, Mark Andrews, George Kittle and now Kyle Pitts has joined the picture after 2021, but it’s not as deep as in previous generations. A couple of guys that have the chance to make an impact in 2022 are Colorado State’s Trey McBride and Wisconsin’s Jake Ferguson. Jim Nagy believes that Ferguson has the most natural hands of any prospects in the draft and he has the ability to catch anything. McBride was the one with the stats this season, but Ferguson is on that same level and a team should not be scared to grab him if he’s available. They should both be great Day 2 picks.

Missouri RB Tyler Badie has the most receiving yards and touchdowns in FBS 2019.

His numbers were stellar on the ground as well as he finished fourth in the country with 1,604 rushing yards and averaged six yards per carry. Since 2019, his 1,022 receiving yards and 11 receiving TDs, led all running backs. Still, Badie (5'8"/194) is not being looked at as a top RB in this draft. When you're dubbed a receiving back, it's hard to get rid of that stigma, and his smaller size is not going to help. If you look at him and his style of play, you can see similarities to Clyde Edwards-Helaire who the Chiefs took in the first round. A Day 1 pick is certainly not his future as a majority of mock drafts don't have any running backs going in the first round, let alone Badie who isn't being looked at as a top 5 by experts. We're are seeing some dual-threat RB thrives in the NFL including Najee Harris and Austin Ekeler, although those guys are a little bigger. With his potential draft spot, if he can transfer his skills to the next level, it might be a great steal for one team.

I agree with their comparison of Badie to CEH.  That is who I have comped Badie to as well.  CEH was clearly over-drafted by KC, but Badie is being seriously under-valued.

I don't know that Aqeel Glass should be included, after he went 4 of 15 for 51 yards, 0 touchdowns and a 55.2 passer rating in the game.  That was not the kind of performance he was hoping for.   Aqeel Glass is still an underrated prospect with some intriguing intangibles, but the best QB on gameday, Bryce Witt, is, interestingly, neither from an historically black college nor even black.

Max Borghi Scouting Report: Fantasy analysis on the 2022 NFL Draft prospect

Washington State redshirt junior RB Max Borghi has declared for the 2022 NFL Draft.

It has yet to be announced whether or not Borghi (5'10/205) would opt out of his team's bowl game on December 31st, although it wouldn't be surprising if he did so. Borghi was long expected to declare for the draft at the end of this season, after totaling 880 rushing yards and 12 touchdowns on the year, while catching 16 passes for another 156 yards. Borghi has been a dual-threat back for the Cougs since a breakout season in 2019 where he rushed for 817 yards and 11 touchdowns (6.4 yards per carry) while catching 86 passes for 597 yards and another five touchdowns.

Former Florida International RB D'Vonte Price is looking to be the first running back drafted from FIU in the 2022 NFL Draft.

Price (6'2/215) had a solid Senior Bowl according to Oliver Hodgkinson of Pro Football Network, and could wind up hearing his name called this spring in the 2022 NFL Draft. During his time at FIU, Price rushed 374 times for 2,179 yards and 15 touchdowns, and finished his senior year with a rushing line of 127-674-6. Price never rushed for 1,000 yards in any of his five seasons at FIU, but according to Hodgkinson's scouting profile on him, Price possess finesse and long speed, along with good agility. Price could throw himself into serious draft consideration with a solid performance at next month's NFL Scouting Combine.

DJ has this defensive lineman mocked much higher on DJ's mock than anywhere else.

5.  New York Giants - Travon Walker Georgia · Edge · Junior

And this offensive lineman also gets a huge bump up the boards.

6.  Carolina Panthers - Trevor Penning Northern Iowa · OT · Senior (RS)

Those were the two big movers I noticed.  I've heard 'whispers' that Travon would go much higher than previous mocks so I think he will start to rise-up on more mocks.

 
Drake London continues his rise.

It was high for Wyatt, Kenyon Green.

Low on Willis, Cross, and his WR order is different as well.

It's early but I haven't seen a 'consensus' on who the top WR is.  Drake 'might' have biggest upside so 'some' luv him but there isn't a consensus ranking of the top WRs at this time.

WR and EDGE is deep, but EDGE typically gets picked higher so 'it's possible' one or more of the top-five WRs slide to late 1st/early 2nd.

Not sure who will take the first WR but wouldn't surprise me if none are taken in the top-ten.

Yeah, I have no idea either, and workouts might matter in a big way if someone disappoints.

It's waaaay early, but notable to see where Jeremiah had Olave and Burks.

 
South Dakota State redshirt senior Pierre Strong Jr. has declared for the NFL draft.

Strong (5'11"/205) has been one of the best players in the FCS during his collegiate career. Strong rushed for a ridiculous 1,673 yards and 18 touchdowns this year on seven(!) yards per carry. He was as unstoppable as they come, and those numbers are tantalizing no matter the level of competition. Strong possess an all-around game and an unmatched consistency that should get him drafted.
