Email spam help! (1 Viewer)

For some odd reason I am getting 15 or so emails a day (with pics) from women (mostly from Ghana) saying they love my profile on livedatingclub and want to get to know me. I never heard of this site and of course didn't sign up. In the event that a buddy did this to me as a joke I tried to do a password reset under my email on their site (so I could close whatever account was opened) and it says email not found. This is my Gmail account that I use for legit stuff so I don't want to just shut it down. But the emails come from real email addresses (not from livedatingclub) so I have no clue what to do. Any advice instead of replying to these emails and risking losing my marriage and kids?

I guess I can keep doing that to each individual email I get from unique addresses. Once every registered email from Ghana is blocked I should be golden

I'm pretty sure that's not how spam filters work.

Gmail has the best filter of any email account I've used. Create a filter to delete emails that contain keywords that you're seeing in the subject line or body of the email (e.g., "livedatingclub")
