In a league with short benches that I just traded Decker, my only WRs left were Holmes and Julio (both on bye). Picked up both Brown and Sanders to start and feel pretty good hedging my bets that at least 1 has a big game.
Have been following closely and after the first 20 votes Brown has held no more than a 60% split. So while Brown never held a 'huge' lead, I do agree Sanders has steadily increased his share, especially today.
Ended up with Sanders myself, hopefully for all involved both pay off. Thanks for the poll topman.
The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette's Ed Bouchette considers Emmanuel Sanders (knee) unlikely to play in Week 9.
He missed his second straight practice Thursday, and will be in Texas for his mother's funeral Saturday. Sanders will have some extra time to get back to Pittsburgh with the Steelers playing on Sunday Night Football, but with all that's going on, expect the Steelers to hold him out. Our thoughts remain with Sanders' family. Nov 3 - 3:43 PM
Hines Ward (ankle) was limited in Steelers practice for the second straight day Thursday.Ward has already promised to play against the Ravens, and with Emmanuel Sanders expected to miss the game with a knee injury, he should return to his usual spot in the slot. Averaging just 3.7 catches and 36.9 yards per game, Ward won't be a fantasy option against Baltimore's elite pass defense. Nov 3 - 5:44 PM
