Em's Stock Tip of the Day: WLT (1 Viewer)

Nice little 15% hit in a little over an hour...
DOUBLE OR NOTHING!$0.57 a share.
You gotta spend money to make money right Em? Good luck. Cheering for you
Yep, our break even point is $0.61 a share. I'm gonna sell if it gets there.
Breaking even is for losers. Come on, have some confidence in your pick. This thing is going to $1.
Admittedly I know nothing about the stock market but when I read your post about breaking even I thought the same thing as Jon. You need it to go in value some. Why try and just break even?

Funny that Em mentioned Dodds. I've brought up Em being a Dodds alias in a different thread... this is vintage Dodds - topics about off the wall stock picks.

Probably why Dodds was OK reinstating Em when I asked him to.
Like Em would know about trading on margin. I remember Dodds threads about VISN and the Asian games, owning 90,000 shares of a Greek shipper that traded at like a buck. There were several others too.

WLT has ~$2.6 bln in Net Debt and had EBITDA of $29 mm in 2014, for a Net Debt/EBITDA ratio of over 90. The annual interest expense alone is 10x LTM EBITDA.

The probability of a BK filing is very high. Met coal markets can't improve fast enough to save this company's current shareholders. The equity is worthless.
I'm not sure Em understands a single thing about this post, which is likely why he ignored it.

I don't care about him. I posted it for the benefit of those readers with an IQ above room temperature. I hope I could prevent them from wasting a single second beyond reading my post thinking about it.

I don't even need to read the 2 pages of responses. Do not buy this stock. Feel free to PM me if you're thinking of biting on this.

You are redefining the term "amateur hour" here.

Putting additional money into a losing trade that was based on nothing but technicals (if that) is pretty much the most elementary error that you can make.
But he's going to make up for it in VOLUME.

I'm certain Em is calculating trading costs into these "break-even" points, as well.

I've already explained this, pop is Dodds.

If you guys don't believe me, then short it. Any way I can make you guys money, idrc.

MDBX has been dead in the water for months now and keeps jumping up and down 10 - 20%.
So you're saying if it goes up, you made us money. And if it goes down you've made us money? That's genius. Almost as genius as selling 8 t-shirts and thinking you should get business cards that say you're the CEO.
No, I just think you're having trouble understanding. You're losinf it pal. It's never too early to hang your boots up and enter a nursing home. ;)
How'd you know I was wearing boots?
because you wear wranglers like a real man that is how bromigo take that to the bank

I don't have to know you.

If you buy a stock that is literally on its way to zero with no justification, you probably aren't that bright.

If you recommend that others do the same, you are a total moron and a.sshat.

This thread was great. Invest in an energy company while oil is at a low? I mean, you don't even need to know the metrics or that the stock is in danger of being delisted, you just need to think about that.

I've got another friend who swears by HERO and while it's a bit more interesting, nope and hell nope.

Em,

How'd you end up faring on this one?
I broke even. I still think there's room to play around with this stock if you're looking for a high volatility stock to gamble with. But keep in mind, it is a gamble. The difference of an hour yesterday was a 15% loss and a 10% gain.

It's not something you want to hold for a long period of time. Interestingly enough, there were a few trades for this stock in the $0.64 - 0.67 range in after hours trading yesterday. If it drops to yesterday's low of $0.56 a share, I might bite.

I try giving you the benefit of the doubt sometimes, but if this isn't shtick, WTMF...

Not surprising, this was all a lie and zero positions in this stock were taken.

It's obviously a moot point now but WLT is up 28% on the day. This is the kind of jumps that make a volatile stock like this exciting to mess around with.

Now only down 35% since your initial tip.
*rolls eyes*

Evidently you can't keep up. I made adequate suggestions in this thread that would have made this pick a 4% loss. This bump was just to show what my mentality was. Apparently I was 4 days late on the bounce.

Yes... given your track record of exactly zero documented successful timing trades... I think you should dive head first into these volatile stocks. :)

I don't want to call this stock picking good shtick, but certainly entertaining... Especially as these picks drop 20-50% in days and Em continues to argue about how nobody was listening to him.

I'm enjoying them :bag:

I'm not arguing the numbers. I am arguing those who don't see the big picture take away behind why I am picking these stocks.I'd say its common sense that you'd want at least a month to pass let alone 3 - 4 months before you call a specific stock a winner or loser, so it's just kind of funny people are casting stones at such short term results.

When I am sure that they themselves do not over analyze such shortterm flucuations on the securities they hold themselves.

It's dogs eating dogs and I am quite enjoying it.

But you are jumping in and out in hours...not months.
