One of the best articles there is. I can't wait for the other half.

I keep up with things pretty well, but I'm still planning to make a couple of waiver moves on the bottom of my roster after reading this.

huh? what is eotg?
John Norton's Eyes of the Guru series.Takes a look at every team's IDP prospects top-to-bottom, from studs to the deepest sleepers with analysis to boot. A long, detailed, and great read.

EOTG was the main reason I subscribed to FBG's when they bought out Redeye. The pre-season and weekly versions are critical to keeping on top of IDP's.

Hail to Johnny "Reb" Norton.

The EOTG has long been a crowd pleaser for those who enjoy IDP, and even for those who DON'T. Lots of nuggets in that feature every year (or week).

Is there a trick to printing these off? Here is what it reads like when I try to print the dang thing:

Hello fellow fantasy addicts and welcome to the 10th edition of the annual Eyes of the Guru preseason IDP repfor in depth coverage on the defensive side of the ball you have come to the right place. No one covers the gaFootball Guys and I am proud that both I and the EOTG are a part of the team. You will find nothing but fantasy
How can one possibly read this on paper?

I'm having trouble myself. For now, the only thing that works for me is to do a massive cut/paste into a Word document.Anybody else?

I had thought to print it landscape and change the standard margins on the page set-up. I haven't tried it yet though. I just did it and it adds about 15 pages but it works. No problem with the right margin and I changed it to .25 just to be on the safe side. End up with 46 pages instead of 32.

Great stuff!

John, if you jump into this thread:

I didn't see two young LBers that I have rostered and you usually have players listed even if they have no value.

Any opinion on Jordan Beck and Omar Gaither?

Thanks!

From our guru of all things site-related, Keith Overton:
Unfortunately, it's completely dependent on what sort of browser you're running. If you're running Firefox, you can reduce the size of the text on the page until it fits using print preview. This is the easiest and best option. If you're running IE, the quickest and easiest way to print these articles is to switch to landscape mode. This wastes some paper, but it will get the job done. Cutting and pasting to a Word document is another method which works but is more trouble.
While it appears we don't have it available yet, we're working on a better solution (i.e. redesigning the article pages to allow a printer style sheet option.HTH.

I was coming here just to ask about Beck.

I pasted into Notepad and reduced the font size and margins, and it worked out really well.

I went the MS Word route. Seemed to work ok and printed faster than in firefox.

Ive gotten about 3/4 way through the AFC. Havent started the NFC yet. Very good read though. You are right, the eotg makes the price worth it.

Since we're talking formatting, etc...

Is there any way the names of players in those huge paragraphs can be bolded or colored? It would make a great article better IMHO.

Thanks.
