I must say that it is sad that anyone with any real money gave Timscroter a job managing commercial properties, because that little taste now has him firmly latched onto the undersack of big corporate business.

That was one of his main problems. Another was negative campaign ads repeating his opponent's name over and over, when his opponent had little name recognition among local voters.

And that "never being home in his district" thing. And not paying attention to the geographical and political realignment of his district.

I'm not sure Cantor did anything right at all.

No kidding. The more you read about him the more Cantor begins to look like the dead body in an Agatha Christie novel. The guy made nothing but enemies. He was arrogant, stepped on toes, tried to work both sides an only alienated both. But the nail in his coffin was ignoring his district imo.

Who the hell loses a primary on an issue in which his constituents agree more you him than your opponent?!
