Eric Decker (1 Viewer)

Or is it that Tebow will hit Thomas when he's deep but not Decker?
If the current trend continues he'll hit both of them on fewer than 50% of attempts.
:goodposting:
To be honest though now is the time to buy in dynasty. Either Tebow improves or he blows out and the Broncos draft his replacement. Either way this feels like the low water mark. We all know the talent is there, and he's not a "system guy" but now opportunity has to come again.
I couldn't have picked a worse time to buy this guy in one league. His value is not that great with Tim "I can't hit the ocean" Tebow throwing it. Maybe Tebow gets tossed to the curb soon. Decker owners can only hope.

Im starting Damien Williams over him this week.

Decker has been hit or miss all season. Now the QB is also. 25% chance of getting a reception on any given play designed/open for him is slim chances.

Nice day by Decker after a quiet stretch, with 6-72-1 to go with12 targets.

Unfortunately, with Thomas being the key guy last week - not to mention Tebow's passing woes - it's hard to get too excited again about Decker.

Ton of targets, he'd be a steal if he had a real QB. If Tebow gets benched at some point, Decker's consistency could improve quickly. For anybody with the bench space he's still a great stash with the potential to blossom into a quality WR2 later in the season, especially in PPR.

I hit the trifecta in Tebow, Decker and Thomas. One of these guys have to step up and be the go to guy or I'll be wasting bench space the rest of the year.

The three of them will be fighting for scraps in a 150 yd/game passing offense with a qb that turns passing plays into sacks and scrambles for rushing yds.

Interesting. You somehow got penalized in your league and the penalty was that you have the Broncos offense? Outside of a 50 team league, you couldn't possibly have picked these 3 up.

All 3 of those players should be owned in any 12 team league. Assuming there is nothing better on the waiver wire, I see nothing wrong with one owner having all 3. :shrug:If nothing else, Tebow makes a good QB2, Decker makes for a decent WR3/flex play (or at worst provides solid depth at the position), and Thomas has some nice upside.

I can see 1 of them on any 1 team but all 3 on one team? They aren't the 1999-2000 Rams.
I guess it depends on roster size (number of bench spots), league size, and what else is available on the wire. I agree it's probably not prudent, in general, to own 3 players from an anemic offense. But each of these players in his own right deserves ownership, so I don't see a huge problem with them all being on the same team so long as the owner isn't making huge roster sacrifices to keep all 3.

I don't disagree too much with any of this, (Well maybe about Thomas having 'upside'), but I agree with Favreco that it's inane to have all 3 occupying roster spots on one team. I wouldn't do something like that unless it were a powerful offensive team, like the 99-00 Rams, etc.

Anyone know who Flowers would be covering?

If he's on Decker, that would probably be the difference between flexing him or benching him for me

KC defensive coaches meeting is almost over. They usually give me a call and tell me their defensive assigments around 5pm ESt on Saturdays so I will post the info after I hear.

Love Decker long term.
Agreed. That said, he's not seeing the line-up for me for the remainder of Tebow's existence as QB of the Broncos.
I dont see why not. Every game Tebow has played he has targeted Decker multiple times on long throws. He missed a couple of 65+ yarders the past couple of weeks, and the td to decker was perfect. While i do believe the Broncos will continue to rely heavily on the run, 15-20 passes a game is still a more likely thing to happen. And Decker will catch a few of those each week.

Anybody who plays Decker vs the Jets needs their head examined. The Tebow may not complete the game. What do I predict "Pain"

I don't know if I agree that Decker won't see the line-up while Tebow is QB, but I wouldn't play him next week against the Jets. He is likely to see Revis a good deal of the time, and Tebow's not going to be accurate enough to fit the ball into the small windows that Revis leaves.I do think, however, that Decker has value the rest of the season, as it seems like Tebow targets him often.

Anyone rolling out Deck tonight vs Revis/Jets?

Its either him, Lance Ball, or Jackie Battle for me because of byes (or pickup Titus Young)...Sadly, I actually think Decker is my best option

I'm not sure Revis will be shadowing Decker the whole game. Bodog has the over/under at 35.5 receiving yards and 2.5 receptions for Decker. That's not good for his fantasy prospects but then again I like the over for receiving yards.

I'm benching him. Last game was pretty shaky - one catch and it came late, otherwise it was looking like a goose egg and Tebow completed two passes altogether. However Decker is top 10 in WR points in the last 3 weeks (think I read that somewhere...).I am starting Tebow though.

Sitting him this week. Seems like Revis Island for Decker. He is their best WR and on a short week it seems the only way the Jets can be sure is to nuke him from orbit.

Although if I am sitting him he probably scores...

I have to start three from the Wide Receiver Witness Protection Program:

Colston (Bye)

Michael Crabtree

Eric Decker

Moss (Out)

David Nelson

Wayne (Bye)

Damian Williams

Titus Young

So yes, I am rolling with Decker versus the Jets. Don't feel good about it, but 8 TDs in 9 weeks gives some hope. I suspect he'll be sitting on 0-2 points going into the 4th, and then maybe he'll hit something big in Tebow time. Feels like playing roulette.

For better or worse, Im rolling with Decker...Stacey Dales just said he should be in on returns more often so maybe we'll get lucky and he'll take 1 to the house that way :suds:

I'm rolling with Decker. My playoff spot is clinched and I want the entertainment. Damien Williams doesn't exactly inspire confidence with Wallace on bye either.

Revis? Deck em!

:boxing:

:football:

Isn't Decker a top 20 WR from here on out?
:X Decker was a sell high with Tebow lurking on the sidelines. Now he's a zero.
Couldnt agree more , I sold high in my $100 contract dynasty auction "man's" league after week #2 . Gave Decker and K Hunter for Cam Newton and A Brown WR PIT . this was during Gores Injury scare , and before Brown emergeance. Probably my best trade so far this year

Had to use him because of bye weeks, but made the mistake of watching portions of that game last night. Now I'm thinking it's time to drop him

Unless you're doing it for a joke, Damian Williams has WAY MORE upside than Decker, are you serious?

Hindsight is 20/20, huh? Are YOU serious is probably the more accurate question?Personally, I had the same two WRs. Happened to sit the man on Revis Island, but Decker is going to start the rest of the year.

If Gore was on IR I dont think Id trade Cam for Hunter and Decker...You didnt sell high, you got lucky.

ive been starting lloyd and aj green over him. could plug him in at flex over spiller or shonn greene. hes scored in 4 out of the last 5 weeks. naturally his goose egg game when filling in for green. hes hard to bench and hard to start.

FBG has him top 30-35, others like Lance Moore for instance are in the 45-55 range...is there a difference?

id def play him over moore this week vs the minny secondary. seems the saints have been forcing the ball to moore of late and he is likely undervalued a bit going forward.
