Cena's actually pretty good. Pretty ruthless making fun of Goodell, Kobe, Dwight, the Knicks, and Kevin Love.

Also, I see Russell Wilson has come along way since the day he got drafted.

Recording it.  Just wanted to be able to fast forward through to any possible good parts.

Having comedy legend John Cena hosting is a little worrisome.

The 4 youths who started the show tonight, I dunno. Paul sounded the most eloquent and I felt he was able to connect with people from all walks. Wade sounded like he was going to pull out a glock while he was screaming no more violence and then LBJ as usual trying to sound like a commercial that wouldn't offend folks even if they didn't like this opening segment.

I didn't watch much of the show after that. Saw Sager, felt bad for him.

Thought it would have been a better opening if they included Gasol, Lin and Magic/Bird.  A bit more inclusive.  Like we are in this together.

The four youths lost me when they started "axing"us questions.

I thought the 4 men were eloquent and spot on by making the comments they did.  Their comments were positive and encoraging.  They were calm and clear!  WTF screaming or commercialism was evident ?  As athletes, they called on other athletes to do more to help out in their neighborhoods.  What is so wrong about that?  Thank you for being willing to speak up rather than worry more about how many tennis shoes you can sell.

Manning did a great job on the monologue this year (it's the only thing I watched). His pacing and delivery was spot on.

It was the 25th Espys and the first one I ever watched....because of Manning. The skit about with him in the old folks home was about as good as the ones he did on SNL I thought.
