Ethical trade question.... (1 Viewer)

League info: We play on Sportsline with one commish who is notified of all accepted trades and he must approve all trades. There is no Approve/Veto RULE in place, and we have never had to Veto a trade, but there is an unwritten rule that trades are subject to the commish's Approval

A trade between "Manager A" and "Manager B" has been pending for almost 7 days now...

Commish for whatever reason didn't see it on the site and didn't approve it.

"Manager A"'s email was entered incorrectly on the site by the Commish (without "Manager A" knowing) ...so "Manager A" did not receive notification fo the trade acceptance.

Long story short: "Manager A" proposed Hasselbeck for Alexander straight up last week, and "Manager B" accepted without "A" even noticing until now.

The trade has been pending commisioner approval since mid-week last week.

Now Hasselbeck is hurt (along with Alexander).

So we still stand with the trade pending.

I would say there is one RIGHT thing to do... although I can see how someone would disagree.

Should commish put the trade through or Veto it?

The trade goes through. How do you not notice the trade was accepted? If the commish does his job, he ends up with Hasselbeck a week before the injury.

The fact that we know the outcome of the trade is bad now doesn't affect things.
