Know a whole bunch of people. My dad wasn't quite 'connected', but had a ton of connected connections. All those guys ended up doing time at one point of their life.

He was a loser and I considered it my civic duty. At the time we tangled he was about 6 5 250.

Sadly, I have known several people who have done time.  Unfortunately, most of those are former students...drugs, armed robbery, rape.  A former student just killed his father right before Thanksgiving, so there will be another in the near future.  So sad.    :(

My younger brother did 6 months in a military prison including 44 days in solitary.  This was back in the 80s and he was sent to prison for going AWOL while in the Marines

yes, turns out a guy i became friends with after he got out did a few years for dealing... on the straight and narrow now.. so it seems. One of those guys who would do anything for you and just got messed up with the wrong crowd at a young age.
