Exercises or Sports....what do you do? Favorite? (1 Viewer)

I'd start with the shorts.  If you just want to start cheap, I've got a pair or two of these.  Just like bikes, though, they can get ridiculously expensive from there.  Next, make sure your bike seat is actually in the right place.  There are videos online for how to properly "fit" a bike.  Your seat may be too far forward, or back, or angled wrong.  Same idea with your handlebars.  A local shop may do a quick fitting for you for a few dollars.  Once you've done those two things, then start messing with the actual seat itself. 

 
Nothing and it's a big problem.

Before marriage I was extremely active playing basketball, softball and flag football. I also ran a few days of the week (but hated it). After marriage and kids I never readjusted. I was never a gym person and stayed fit because I was so active playing sports. If I'm not engaged in some kind of competition I have a real hard time being motivated.

 
I usually swim laps 3-4 times a week, for about 25 mins to go a half mile each outing.  There are a lot of affluent white people here so I must be doing something good.  Just want to look like I'm trying.  I still eat total trash and therefore am still a little chunky
