Explosions at Boston Marathon (1 Viewer)

Daily mail says younger brother put gun in mouth and the bullet went through the back of his neck instead of killing self

I am surprised that, unless I missed, the owner of the Mercedes has stayed out of public eye. I am sure he was debriefed by police/FBI, but you'd think the media would have tracked him down by now.
He's probably of the opinion that he spent a little too much time in the public eye recently.

If the parents came here to seek asylum because it was so bad there, why did they go back?
The dad got sick and the mom got busted for shoplifting. Seemed like a good time to get out of town I guess. Also, most of the hostilities in the region simmered down around 2009.

Has the article written by the woman who knew the family been posted here? The woman who used to go get spa treatments at their house?

I don't think I understood the old guy part...I was at work and couldn't get updates...did the old guy have explosives or mistake?

So who takes custody of him? Will he go through the court system? Will there be a trial? Or does he go to Guantanamo?
Seems pretty clear cut here. The Feds will take him, read his rights and put him through the court system.

Why would he go to Guantanamo? Only crazy people would suggest such a thing... makes no sense.

If he is declared an enemy combatant, why wouldn't he go to Guantanamo?

so when the police unloaded on the boat, what exactly did they hit?!? Christ they're either the worst shots in history or that boat is made of bullet proof fiberglass

There are a few friends from college that must do nothing but love them some infowars...posting stuff like this...are still on the national guard guys as suspects of some massive government conspiracy.

This after their first conspiracy that it was going to just be some white male so that the government could ban black powder...and of course like Ham they tried making to connection to the West Texas explosions.

Or really good shots knowing where he was in the boat and hitting other parts to pepper it and scare the crap out of the kid.

“Loss prevention from Lord & Taylor called to report they had detained a shoplifter. Zubeidat K. Tsarnaeva, 45, of 410 Norfolk St., Apt. 3, Cambridge, was arrested and charged with larceny over $250 (women’s clothing valued at $1,624), and two counts of malicious/wanton damage/defacement to property.”

Hopefully! Good point.

This one is great too...Beck has such great information that he is going to issue the president an ultimatum and basically blackmail the government.

But this information could bring down the nation...and is so big...yet only Beck has it.

Sad that there are people believing this stuff.
We have information on who this man is. And listen to me carefully. We know that he is a very bad, bad, bad man.
Well, as long as he isn't a very bad, bad, bad, bad man we should be OK right??

Surprised more aren't talking about this.

http://www.cnn.com/2013/04/20/us/boston-attack/index.html

(CNN) -- The surviving suspect in the Boston Marathon bombings suffered an injury to his throat and may not be able to talk, a federal official told CNN on Saturday, possibly hindering attempts by authorities to question him about a motive in the attack.

With one suspect dead, authorities believe answers to a motive and whether the brothers had help rest with Dzhokar Tsarnaev, who was captured Friday night just minutes after authorities had indicated that a massive manhunt for the suspect appeared to come up empty...

Look at the picture (about 11-12 down of the boat)

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2312486/Dzhokhar-Tsarnaev-Boston-bombing-suspect-gun-mouth-fired-botched-suicide-attempt.html

It looks like bullet holes (and you can see the pool of blood) - where he was laying it makes sense he was only hit in the leg

The video is crazy.

Saw an interview with one of the doctors early this morning who said he is still sedated and intubated, and will be for awhile. They won't be getting information from him anytime soon unless he feels like writing it down.

And such a bad man...that secret service allowed the first lady to go visit him in the hospital too.

This is where I'm at with this too. One of our favorite "news" stations and a lot of "conservative" politicians, McCain included think otherwise. Seems particularly strange just after the gun law stances these very same people took.

I am not in favor of making this guy an enemy combatant, but this slippery slope stuff is as nonsensical here as it is in the gun control debate. This is NO historical example of liberty being lost incrementally, over time, through well meaning action or laws. It doesn't work that way, ever.
First they came for the habeas corpus writs of suspected terrorists, and I didn't speak out because I wasn't a suspected terrorist.

Tamerlan may have been 'taken alive' in the sense that he still had blood pulsing through the bullet holes at the time they got to him, but there's no way you can listen to the barrage the police threw his way when he left his cover and believe he was going to survive for very long.

This poem is cited all the time, but it was originated in a society that was already a dictatorship when the first "first they came" occurred. In a free society, it doesn't work that way. Case in point: Abraham Lincoln took away habeas corpus, but at the end of the Civil War, it returned. During World War II, FDR unjustly imprisoned over 100,000 Japanese Americans, but that did not turn this country into a dictatorship.

We make mistakes, and our government does bad things, all the time. But we catch them and reverse ourselves. It would IMO be a terrible mistake to make this guy an enemy combatant. But it won't lead us to a dictatorship, because THERE IS NO SLIPPERY SLOPE.

It's the naked guy from CNN. They thought it was someone who could be connected to something and made the guy strip down in the street naked and arrested him. He was naked on CNN for like an hour. It wasn't Tamerlan and as far as we know anyone other than a man who happened to be of brown skin and was out in the wrong place on Thursday night. There were a few others that were surrounded and cuffed that had nothing to do with anything either.

This is where all the conspiracy theories start and people fall for it.

False false flag?

These dummies thought they could get away with it.
Yes. "Just go home and tweet like everything is normal." Idiots. Soon comes the realization he threw his life away for no reason and destroyed hundreds more. A week ago he was a kid in college, partying, girlfriend, everything ahead of him. All gone, for what? I hope they show him home movies of the kid he killed 24 hours a day until the injection.
How could they possibly think they could get away with this after Tamerlan already being on the FBI's radar? I wonder if Tamerlan even told his brother about that.

I still think it's the weird white dude.

Germany was a free society. We were just lucky Lincoln was a good guy.

There is visual proof he was right at the second bomb spot (indepedent of if he is guilty). I think the normal human being response would have been to get on Twitter once he got home and be like "HFS I was right there! I could have been blown to bits" - that strikes me as odd he makes zero emotional reaction to it all since we know he was there.

Germany was a free society. THEN the dictatorship happened (thanks to the Enabling Act). The dictatorship didn't emerge through incremental measures. That's my whole point.

So you're saying he may have been involved?

At this point probably told to shut up and not say a word. Never saw a name or anything out there...but not sure how someone in the media did not get his info somehow.

Kind of shocked with you there.

But would guess the federal prosecutors and cops have been on him for protection and to have him stay quiet right now.
Good point I honestly missed. Especially not knowing whether there are accomplices out there who have heard they told this guy (at least) who they were. Even the media should respect the need to not publish the name if they came up with it.
