Explosions at Boston Marathon (1 Viewer)

For crying out loud!!!!! You guys are hung up on a SMALL FONT?!?!?!?
Then why did you change the font in that post? You are making LHUCKS look like a model poster here.
You're still hung up on it?!?!?!?
My God. I don't come around here often enough to know off hand what your shtick is, but please just stop. You made your original post about Iraq with the small point to make some kind of point in some douchy manner, and now having been called out on it, you're acting all obtuse like you were simply reporting another event. If you're going to be a #####, at least stand up for your right to be a ##### and be a #####. If you regret being a #####, instead of acting like a victim, maybe just drop it and let the rest of us participate in a thread about a bombing in Boston that has, among other things, taken the life of an 8 year old. Have some perspective.

Is this true?

Same reporter asked why people were being told ahead of time not to be alarmed (due to bomb-sniffing dogs) because they were just "conducting a drill." The announcements were going on prior to the bombings.

Anybody else catch the lunatic asking whether this was "another false flag operation by homeland security to take away civil liberties and handguns off the street"?
Not surprising. A growing number of people continue to think 9/11 was a setup and that most major events are setups. This kind of thing is snowballing and these people aren't going away.

It's creating a ton of division, I know that.

I'm not a big fan of Deval's brand of politics but I like the guy

Seems very capable and inspiring.
You should see him in real life. He looks like webster.

I get they cant have an open kimono on every fact right now. But you got the Wall Street Journal saying there were 5 other devices out there that didnt blow. I'd say thats important and thats something everyone should know at this point. Also - cut the bull you don't know how many are dead or hurt.
Now hearing that the WSJ report of the additional devices might not be accurate.

Dividing the idiots from the somewhat rational.

Really? Is it a growing number? And causing division? I'm not being sarcastic, legitimately asking. I've always thought these people remained a small, not very credible minority.

Well you know what would be helpful?... if any one of the 15 bureaucrats they had on the podium could dispense some actual news. Every time the commissioner started to give some real info, the FBI nerd would just look at him with that "we talked about this. shut up now" stare.

I met him in a local restaurant in Medford last summer. . He came off a lot more normal than I pictured .

I've also heard that were doing a bomb drill today, but I don't know if that's the truth.
Perhaps they had some evidence to indicate a potential threat and were taking extra steps with the dogs and rooftop spotters and just failed to prevent it.

Perhaps I'm guessing. I'm just running into more people in "real life". It's anecdotal, yes.

I guess he was referring to this:
Only hours after two bombs were detonated near the finish line of a Boston marathon, evidence is beginning to emerge suggesting that the act may have been a false flag attack. While reports continue to emerge from the scene, a number of facts point toward the typical setup used to devise, control, and execute such an attack as took place around the 9/11, 7/7, and OKC bombings as well as the Aurora and Sandy Hook shootings. One of the hallmark signals of a false flag attack, as Webster Tarpley has expertly demonstrated in his book, 9/11 Synthetic Terror, is the use of drills acting as a cover for sinister plans and mechanizations within the halls of the shadow government itself which ultimately manifest as false flag terror attacks. Much like the aforementioned attacks, the Boston Bombing also carried the trademark coincidence of a drill scheduled to take place at almost exactly the same time that the bombs were being detonated at the marathon. For instance, earlier in the morning of April 15, 2013, the Boston Globe tweeted Officials: There will be a controlled explosion opposite the library within one minute as part of bomb squad activities. In addition, it was reported by Business Insider in the article 2 More Explosive Devices Found At Boston Marathon, that a police scanner said police were going to do a third, controlled explosion on the 600 Block of Boylston Street. Yet, despite the fact that the police had scheduled a highly coincidental explosion at the JFK Library, much of the mainstream reports regarding the device have presented it as another part of the Boston Bombing itself. In fact, the New York Post reported almost the polar opposite of the Boston Globe in regards to the second device. It said, Police confirmed a third explosion at JFK Library in Boston. Boston fire officials confirmed during a press conference that the third explosion was linked to the ones that occurred at the Marathon. There were no injuries reported from the third bombing.Andrew Katz of TIME tweeted that police were investigating reports of bombs in other parts of the city, and Citing a police scanner, Katz tweeted that there was an incendiary device possible at JFK Library as well as another device in front of Bostons luxury Mandarin Hotel.Business Insider also reported that, around 3 p.m., there was a fire inside the JFK Library but states that it was not related to the terrorist bombings. This, as I mentioned, is in direct contradiction to the later reports that the fire was actually an explosion related to the terror bombing. Thus, we have a device planted inside the library by the police and confirmation that an explosion at the library was connected to the Boston Bombing. This fact alone should be enough to raise questions regarding the individuals responsible for the bombing. If the police had planted a device inside the Library and the explosion was related to the Boston Bombing, should there not be an immediate investigation of the police? It should also be noted that Chris Faraone of the Boston Phoenix also tweeted that a police officer near the finish line stated, There are secondary devices that have been found and are unexploded. Also interesting, however, is the fact that the University of Mobiles Cross Country Coach, Ali Stevenson, stated that bomb sniffing dogs were present at both the start and finish lines.Speaking to Local 15, the local Boston news station, Stevenson stated, They kept making announcements on the loud speaker that it was just a drill and there was nothing to worry about. It seemed like there was some sort of threat, but they kept telling us it was just a drill. At this time, law enforcement officials state that they have identified a suspect, a Saudi national currently in the hospital for shrapnel wounds. One must also wonder if this individual is nothing more than a mere patsy in yet another government-sponsored false flag. It is highly dubious that an individual (with the exception of a suicide bomber which this individuals survival excludes him from) setting off such powerful bombs would stand so close to them as to be injured by shrapnel.Ali Stevenson also stated that there was no doubt in his mind that the bombings were intentional and this much is quite clear. The question, however, is who was behind them?As Mike Adams of Natural News writes, Its far too early to take an informed guess on all this. However, it is indisputable that the FBI is actively engaged in carrying out bomb plots in the United States, then halting them at the last minute to catch the terrorists. This fact has been covered by the New York Times, among other publications.Indeed. And the track record of the FBI, as well as other elements of the governmental establishment, should be reason enough for us to continue watching these developments and the subsequent claims made by these agencies and individuals.

The death total is up to 46, and the injured total has passed 300. talking about the incident in Iraq today.
Where is this?
In Iraq today.
You're sickening dude. You're everything that is wrong with this country.
Why is he sickening and everything wrong with America? Also, he is wrong in a sense. Those deaths and injuries in Iraq were not a single event. There were 20 separate bombings in Iraq today.
There's not much reporting about it. Most of the articles I've found all lump the death and injured totals together. Some say the bombings were in six different provinces. Have to dig pretty deep to find it was a series of 20 seperate bombing attacks.
So what exactly is your complaint? That the U.S. media doesn't carry as big of story on the bombings in Iraq as they do on a bombing within the U.S.?
Why are you expecting me to complain about something? I've found that dozens of events similar to Boston happened today accross Iraq. That seems pretty relevant to bring up in this thread. I wish there were more details about what happened in Iraq, but there isn't much out there about it without digging deep.
Start a separate thread.
For each of the 26 bombing incidents?
For those of us whom this hits home, please stop.

How about the American bombing of an Afghan wedding today? 30 dead. US admitting that it was an error. Sad sad day and so much violence in the world. Thoughts go out to many many families.

http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2013/04/15/joe-andruzzi-handles-boston-marathon-attack-the-way-joe-andruzzi-would/

Former NFL offensive lineman Joe Andruzzi, a cancer survivor, runs a foundation that raises funds to assist cancer patients and to support pediatric brain cancer research.

As part of the effort, Andruzzi organizes a team of runners every year at the Boston Marathon.

His three brothers who responded to the 9/11 attacks, so it makes sense that he’d be photographed carrying a woman who had been injured in Monday’s bombing.

If that image makes you inclined to contribute to his foundation’s effort, all you have to do is click here.

Terrorist bombings killing innocent civilians, likely carried out by organized terrorist groups. America and a country with a new government backed by the US. It may very well be the same group that carried it out. Not that Twitter is always right, but reports are this Saudi National that was hospitalized has now been arrested by the FBI.

Just the general tragedy of this modern age. If the attack in Boston does end up being Al Qaeda affiliated that all the stories are part of the same sad narrative that has been playing out for a long time with no end in sight.

Love how the Governor blows off the question.

Friend of the family works at one of the hospitals. He has already conducted 20 amputations today.
Hopefully it was a miscommunication. 20 seems awfully high for one hospital

https://twitter.com/BostonGlobe/status/323953025116950528

Injury count as of 745 pm by hospital: Boston Children’s 8; Brigham 27; BMC 23; MGH 22; BI 21; St E's, 15; Tufts 9
May have had to do multiple amputations on individuals.
good point

Love how Deval handled the loon

"No , next question"

and how the hell does he get in there without the credentials

Al Qaeda carried out 9/11 and 15 of the hijackers were Saudi. The attacks in Iraq are at peak levels this last month or so. Terrorism is on the rise in Iraq as elections approach. Also, he isn't my buddy either. I don't know him.

What does the increase of terrorism in Iraq due to elections have anything to do with what happened in Boston today?
