Al-Qaeda has a history of bombs not going off FWIW.

Fact is we don't know right now but they'll work all that out in the coming hours. Waco and OKC anniversaries are this month, stuff blew up in Iraq today for the elections but that seems very localized to Iraq. It also could have been some crazy nut with an axe to grind because he got laid off or lost his girlfriend to a runner, who knows.

Lets slow down. Suspicious packages being found, however that can be anything left unattended. With the first explosions and people running, I'm sure there will be lots of bags/backpacks left behind. Anything unattended will be treated as a suspicious package.
