More Surgery For QB Couch?

Source: Mark Story, Lexington Herald-Leader

Original Article: http://www.kentucky.com/mld/heraldleader/s...ns/14791772.htm

Summary: Greg Couch, the older brother of Tim COuch, said Friday that doctors with the Indianapolis Colts, a team for whom the QB recently worked out, performed an MRI on the former Cleveland Browns quarterback's surgically repaired right throwing arm/shoulder. "Tim knew before that, that his arm was bothering him again," Greg Couch said on Friday. "The Colts did an MRI and it showed what the problem was." As a result, Tim Couch canceled a scheduled tryout with the Giants and sent a copy of the MRI to Dr. James Andrews, the famed sports orthopedic surgeon, who did the original arm operation on Couch.

I hope he gets his arm right and retires. I'm no doc but at this point he's starting to seem like one of those former NFLers that always has a problem with a limb after their NFL career.

I'm know that Dr. Andrews is a very well known sports doctor, but would you go back to the guy that "fixed" your arm so well that you still have shoulder problems two years later?

Maybe he backs his work with some sort of warranty?
