Philly has a nice falafel place called Maoz. You basically just buy a falafel sandwich and then they have a toppings/sauce bar where you can add as much crap to it as you want. It's such a great deal because of all the additions.

Best falafel is in a street cart on 16th and JFK. Cheap too.

Love a good falafel from Mahmoun's and their hot sauce is fantastic. They've expanded out of the city in recent years (New Brunswick, Princeton, New Haven) and I wouldn't be surprised if they kept on going so some of you guys might get lucky one day.

I lived on falafel and shawarma back when I spent a couple weeks working in London, thanks to the rest of their food being so ####ty in general. A great middle eastern community though.

While falafel is great on its own, all those veggies you throw on top can really elevate it. Love anything pickled with it.

Yes! Would rather have both kafta kebob AND falafel pita sandwiches with lots of tabbouleh and hope the tzatziki doesn't have too much cucumber in it.

fair enough. although I think falafel and middle eastern food in general is in abundance in most areas of the country. Greek restaurants have falafel.
