And your point is?

In leagues that have regular seasons of 13 weeks, 2 weeks is a big deal. That's 15% of your games. Starting out 0-2 is a hole. There's nothing wrong with re-evaluating your squad after week 2.

My point is...it's only week 2.

if your team is a major disapointment so far this is your last chance to do something drastic before your season is completely shot

For studs like Jones-Drew, D-Will, Witten, etc. I agree with the point you're making, even though it's a bit wordy. But for the fringe (Manningham, Britt, Alex Smith) and even the more speculative early round commodities (Mathews, Fitzgerald, Forte) it's time to start making some educated judgements. One aspect of this hobby that's not often talked about is that selling low isn't selling low if there's even further to fall and vice versa.

In my opinion, two weeks is enough for people to know which are the really awesome teams (like the ones I've drafted) and which are the really crappy teams (like the ones the OP drafted). In many leagues those two types of teams don't even exist. But if your team has had the highest/lowest point total by a significant margin in both weeks, then I think these two weeks may be a good indicator of your team's quality. In one league, I'm up 85 points on the field and I guarantee you that 80% of my opponents would trade their team for mine straight up. The other 20% would be too stubborn or stupid (like the OP) to make the deal.

But for most of you mortals, two weeks really isn't enough time to know whether you've got a good team.

Actually I'm 2 - 0. But just keeping things in perspective. It's only been 2 weeks.
