It was the first mag I bought about 12 years ago with Bledsoe on the cover and it did me alright...I did notice over time though that I mysteriously started having a lot of Seahawks on my roster (the year I bought it was when Moon went off for like 27 TDs as my backup so that was good), but I found myself with James Mckinght, and a couple of others who underwhelmed (one guy was a WR I think from GB originally who had one good half of the season and they had him ranked #8 in redraft the following year and he bombed). I then noticed the mag is published out of Seattle, so it eventually made sense.
I stopped buying it about 5 years back when I became a FBG disciple. I still buy a magazine or two for the "office", but I have to admit, I kind of like ESPN's mag. There is a lot of trash in it, but they go very deep in the number of players they analyze (i.e. many mags stop at 60 WRs and they go to like 110 or so. Also, as FF has hit main stream, the "corporate" guys are getting better with analysis. Now most of it I can get from FBG website, but as far as print mags go, I like the extra steps they take. In their team Defense section (they also have IDP), they have a blurb on each team which CB you want to avoid/expolit going into the season. It is not just the obvious stuff either. For example if a team has a Pro Bowl CB, it is not just like "go after the other guy". They detail the amount of big plays the weaker guy gives up, etc. Again, I can get all of what I want (and more) from FBG, but it is a pretty extensive mag...you just have to sift through stuff like their mock drafts, etc.
ETA: I am curious whether they have Housh and/or Hass as top 10 in their respective positions in Fantasy Index...my guess would be yes.
