Fantasy Football League Committees (1 Viewer)

Some League Commissioners do it all (as i did in previous years) but I find two things wrong with this...especially if you play in the league yourself):

1. To much time, and

2. To much onus on one guy.

I've incorporated a Trading Committee of 3 guys (all outside of the league), and gave the League Accounting responsibilities out to another (who invested league dues throughout the season...he's a financial planner..)

Anyway, going into our league wind-up this weekend I want to ensure an even smoother run league for next year, do you guys have any other suggestions for League Committee's that you incorporate that you feel are a necessity?

thanks,

Thanks to an easy job that allows me time to work on league issues most of the time, and having GREAT easy going owners I feel like running a league is pretty easy.

If I had to think about it league committee stuff....

Maybe a league rule change person.

Throughout the year you find issues that come up that may need tweakin in the rule book?

The "Committee to find out why all the fun is being sucked out of Fantasy Football" Committee?

Ok, sarcasm aside, serious question: you're forming committees? It really seems like it would suck all the fun out of FF to make a league that acted like my company more than a group of guys having fun for a few bucks. I suppose I could understand if we're talking 1000 dollar entries, but 50 or 100 buck leagues, is it really that critical?

The only sure things in life are death, taxes, and Controversy in FFL...I'm in a league that is VERY pationate about winning and I'm not sure if that takes the fun out, but it sure leads to dismay when you're the focal point of the contraversy because you're running the ship!

My opinions on the Committee's aren't so much of a policing issue as they are to get other league members engaged and accountable.

thanks for your replies.
