thats a tricky one carv... everyone has their preferrence when rollin... i'm a D&B kinda guy myself... what are you into?
I tend to like the trance type stuff when peaking... and the classic rock/pop song/mashups when building. If that makes any sense. I switch off to reggae on the way down.

For those like me who still enjoy some trance. You can get a free Ultra All Stars 2010 MP3 album download from Amazon

Track-list:

1. I Am Not Drunk (Radio Edit) Benny Benassi 3:06

2. Ten Seconds Before Sunrise Tiësto 7:31

3. 4:00 AM Kaskade 4:18

4. Communication Armin Van Buuren 4:16

5. The Bass Sander Van Doorn 4:46

6. You Can Be The One Late Night Alumni 3:13
Thanks for the link.Grabbing a crapload of free indie rock from there also...

Went to see deadmau5 a little over a month ago. Incredible show. If you're reading this thread, I imagine you'd enjoy seeing deadmau5 perform. I searched the thread and saw no mention - surprised.

Pendulum Essential Mix 7/2010 (megaupload link - trusted uploader - safe)

been banging :X this regularily for the last month... has really grown on me. pretty much all new material from them and includes the typical pendulum jump up D&B, but has some heavy rock/metal, hip hop, dubstep, and mix of many other genres. 2 hour mix... highly recommend this - give it a few listens.

this was on the Essential Mix radio 1 show - not copywritten material so i figured it would be safe to link a megaupload link.

I'm late to the party but I just discovered "We No Speak Americano". I think I love this song.
That song makes me think of Buca Di Beppo. They play the slowed down, probably original, version in the restaurant.

I know it's totally mainstream, but I really like the TRON soundtrack by Daft Punk. I bought it on Amazon and downloaded it last week.

I don't know if everyone is familiar with beat bird. The site can be pretty hit and miss for streaming. They have singles and DJ sets if you look arond in there. Some classic sets too.

I really like this set by Marco Carola he did this past New Year's Eve in Italy with Loco Dice. If anyone knows the song around the 34 minutes mark I would really like to know who does that track. There is no track listing but if you follow the bar you can see where the breaks in the sets are and when certain tracks come in and out. I think this is one of the better sets I have heard in a while.

Check it out.

If you're not listening Radio Danz, you're missing out. Best dance station anywhere. :boomgomysox: You can get it on iphone and android too. :lmao:

Don't waste your time on BPM on Sirius. Fakest ripoff dance music out there. Horrible station and a shell of its former self. Screw them.

candian drum and bass... odd but true. this guy has stuck to the roots of drum and bass and adds some flavor - highly recommend this mix for the junglists out there.

Wife and I may be Rolling face this weekend for the first time in like 9 years... looking for a good playlist. Im old and out of touch (31). Should I stick to the classics?
Ive always been a trance guy. Atb, oakenfold, sasha, digweed back in the day. Late 90s and early 2000s techno was always my favorite music. New stuff not so much. Im not a Guetta fan and he seems to be the most popular dj now. Newer guys i like: Robbie Rivera, Laidback Luke. Ferry Corsten and Van Burren are ok and have some good stuff
Me too.Back in the Napster days, I couldn't get Napster to work on my computer, but I got some crappy clone to work (something with Web or Spider in the name). I grabbed a few 60-minute Sasha, Oakenfold, and Digweed mixes, and I still pop the CD with them in once in awhile when I'm programming at work.
