I'd like to see him sign with the Vikes again. Bring him in as the "backup" to help mold Ponder. Start Ponder, and if/when he struggles, Favre comes in to save the day/season.
I like it.
I like it.

I wouldn't put it past favre to return (again) as a starter. But no way he comes back as the designated backup.I'd like to see him sign with the Vikes again. Sounds like a lot of speculation to me with no real basis.Posted July 05, 2011 @ 6:13 p.m. ET

In an NFL.com chat on Tuesday, analyst and former VP of player personnel for the Cowboys Gil Brandt said Brett Favre could be interested in returning, again.
"I do think Favre would be interested in talking to a team about returning. But I don't see a team out there right now that would bring him back as a starter," Brandt said in the chat.
Favre retired, again, following the 2010 season. The 41-year-old is the NFL's all-time leader in passing yards and touchdowns. He played in 13 games last season, throwing 11 touchdowns and 19 interceptions while battling injuries.
The way we see it
This is simply Brandt's opinion in a chat, not an NFL.com news report. Considering everything Favre put his body through last year (not to mention, throughout his entire career), another return would be even more shocking than his previous ones. While there are a handful teams that are in need of a starting quarterback, we doubt any team would want to go through what Minnesota went through last season, should Favre attempt to return. Despite Brandt's view, all signs still point to "no" when it comes to Favre giving it one more go.
Agreed, I'll wait until I see Favre spoutin off about it somewhere, then I'll go jump off a cliff cuz I'm sick of hearing about this guy and his memeber.I can't wait to see a season start and he is not out there, he is a side show now, and him breaking down last season showed it.NFL.com analyst suggests Favre interested in return

Not sure #4 did anything here...seems more just speculation coming out of Gil Brandt rather than anything new out of Brett.BF being BF - meaning no one was paying attention to him, and he was lonely."look at me, look at me"
...or Gil Brandt.BF being BF - meaning no one was paying attention to him, and he was lonely."look at me, look at me"
it goes without saying that the media are attention whores also...or Gil Brandt.BF being BF - meaning no one was paying attention to him, and he was lonely."look at me, look at me"
With the lockout and what will be a rushed free agency period, with a couple more months rest I could absolutely see this being the case and teams won't be shy to sign him. He just looked terrible last year, a shell of his former self. Maybe he was pretty banged up and needed more rest.Stat Whore Manning still in the hunt to break his records, expect Stat Whore Favre to return mid-season this year if an injury occurs to a contender.
If Detroit is right in the mix mid season and if Stafford goes down, I bet they give Favre a call and why not? He might as well go to another NFC North team! LOL!!!Stat Whore Manning still in the hunt to break his records, expect Stat Whore Favre to return mid-season this year if an injury occurs to a contender.
I would. He went through a lot of pain last year and doubt he wants to repeat it. I think it's reporters looking for a story when there is little news.I wouldn't put it past favre to return (again) as a starter. When has their been any talk he plays for the rams? And why the hell would they want him?Lots of talk he comes back and plays for the RAMS, he could lead them forward
?????they have a franchise QB.Lots of talk he comes back and plays for the RAMS, he could lead them forward
Who's a lot better than the current Brett Favre. Will this guy EVER GO AWAY !!!?????they have a franchise QB.Lots of talk he comes back and plays for the RAMS, he could lead them forward
As long as he has something to contribute, no reason he shouldn't play for someone. Warren Moon played until he couldn't even get a third-string job. It's good money, so why not? He loves the spotlight and once he can't physically do it anymore, that opportunity will never come back. Plus, maybe his home life is less sunny so the field might be where he feels happiest. Whatever the reason, Brett Favre can probably still play. He just can't be "Brett Favre" anymore. But as a fill-in? Maybe. If Matt Schaub got hurt, if Favre really worse than what they have behind him? With Arian and Andre, couldn't Favre run the offense? I'm not usually a Favre apologist, but maybe the lockout has me thinking of it more from a business-only perspective. If he can do a job and earn the money, why not?Who's a lot better than the current Brett Favre. Will this guy EVER GO AWAY !!!?????they have a franchise QB.Lots of talk he comes back and plays for the RAMS, he could lead them forward
Either he will retire, or he won't. The only thing I've ever been concerned with is whether or not he'll make his decision by the time my fantasy football draft arrives. Other than that who the hell cares?
I should pick him up and flood the message board with rumors then wait for the trade offers to come in! lol Kidding, I wouldn't do thatStill have him on all my dynasty rosters
