FBG's Philly/Balt/Wash area auction league (2 Viewers)

Yes, we'll stick with that.
OK fellas...there have been a few questions as to format, so here's the basics:
Fees: $60/owner...payouts announced @draft, once we see exactly how many teams we have (it will be 100%, less league expenses)
Expenses: $60 paid out to roadkill for Software, $60 to ravnzfan for MFL.com site fee
14 team league(we think)...if so, we'll play a balanced schedule where each team plays the other once
2 Divisions/7teams each...13 weeks
$300 auction dollars, $300 blind bid FA dollars(in season)
18 man rosters/start 10, using WCoFF rules
Start: QB--2RB--3WR--TE--flex--K--D
(Note: PPR scoring will be different, using .5RB/1.0WR/1.5TE, rather than using "1" accross the board)
Bestball format, system scores best possible per position--no lineup submission
Playoffs:
6 teams...2 Division winners earn week 14 bye
2nd place from each division qualifies, and will play Wild Card from their own division week 14
Wild Card...3rd team in from each division qualifies on "points scored", regardless of record
Semi's (week 15)...each division Winner plays Week 14 winner from their own division
Super Bowl (week 16)
Time:
Open House 11:45AM, for food and
Auction starts promptly @1PM
Location:
Glenelg, MD (Fear-the-Turtle will provide address)

No objection here, I like it. Just working up a list of values, and this definitely has an impact.
Last year had 10 team/18 man rosters, total 180 players draftedBy expanding to 14 teams this season(252 players drafted), there is a bigger strain on the starting position/flex pool---by bumping TE values to 1.5, we pull a few more of them into being rostered while tempering the RB strain with needing to start 28 of them/week

If anybody has easy access to a projector, bring it along. Haven't had a problem yet so it's unlikely we'll need it but it's nice to have a backup for this critical piece of equipment.
Also, please make sure that FearTheTurtle has your official team name so I can get that set up in the system tomorrow and not waste any of our auction time Saturday.

I dunno. I kinda like the idea of 15 guys huddles around the LCD screen of a laptop. It'll make the draft seem more intimate.

I hope Microsoft Anna can pronounce that.FTT instructed me to name his team "Paul is a handsome stud" so he can hear the computer say that about a hundred times.

Current PPR values of .5/1.0/1.5 are entered, although the '08 stats still show up on the "Player Stats" page---if you click a players game total, it will show you the value of that production w/'09 values
(DWilliams scored 10.00 points week 1---click the "10.00" and it shows you what he did would total 9.5 this year)

It's converted the '08 stats to the '09 scoring now on the report itself. Very cool. One quibble. My MFL league site has an option for a report showing RB+WR+TE, which would be great to have on here as well.ravnzfan said:

This looks right to me. When your replacement had to leave I took over because I was down to a dollar a player. Tried to get Fred Taylor like you wanted but he got too expensive to justify, but did get you Washington, Williams, Galloway, Schilens, and Shockey like you wanted, and figured you wouldn't object to the Ravens D. God, I am so disappointed I missed this. Rode around on the lawn tractor for 2+ hours yesterday and all I could think about was the fun (and beers) I was missing.
Oh well, maybe next year.

Great adding some new folks to the Inaugural Crew - rene, Pablito, DC Yourself...
Great to meet Jim/roarlions in person after having surrogated for him last year - hope Max's Team fares just as well or better. BTW, Jim - nice job Drafting your Team 'live'. Looking solid right out of the gates. Good Luck to you!
